I'd love Fable 3 on PC, but please -- hold the DRM.

Do the Microsoft Games Studios-published games have a habit of containing DRM? Even though it's Microsoft, I'd believe they have the better track record as far as DRM-free titles than the likes of EA and Ubisoft.

They will probably come with GFWL DRM. GFWL server-side authentication comes with tying your key to your gamertag, but there is no limit to reinstalls.

How will Fable III work on PC? Didn't Molyneux say Natal would be required to play the game?

People who bought Bioshock 2 on PC has serious issues with Windows Live. You need a Live account signed in to save, otherwise you cannot save if you don't have an Internet connection. There is also a serious bug that corrupted your saved game files thanks to the Live requirement. Its a long story, but let's just say Window Live isn't exactly a flawless DRM system.

I love games like KOTOR and Fable on the PC, mods significantly increase the replayability, so I'd be interested in picking it up.

I wouldn't object to more games on PC. We PC goers miss too many console games these days. Like I wish FFXIII was on PC since Square Enix previously put The Last Remnant on consoles and PC alike.

On a barely related note, I wonder if Microsoft is unhappy about Steam opening up to Mac. Previously if you got a game off Steam, you were guaranteed to be playing it on a Windows operating system, which is good for MS. With Steam opening up to Mac, there's no guarantee that Microsoft will be the only one guy in town. With Steam now opening up to Mac, Microsoft's competition, maybe Microsoft ain't as happy with Steam.

But the worst part(for Microsoft) is that they can't do anything about it. There's no way in hell Microsoft would add Mac support to "Games For Windows Live", so Mac on Steam basically kills GFW where it stands. Adding Mac support to GFW would be going against its brand name, and Microsoft would never shoot themselves in the foot like that. Basically Steam adding Mac has completely kill GFW by going where GFW can never go.

At least according to Wikipedia, Final Fantasy XIV, which is coming to PC, uses the same Crystal Tools engine as Final Fantasy 13, so it could probably be easily ported to the PC. I'm sure if it is an easy port, they'd still make money on the PC despite high piracy and less JRPG fans on the PC.

I'd like to see a PC port, we did get FF7 and FF8 after all and your right, the Last Remnant did come to PC and it was a much better port. I was happy to buy it for only $10 at a Steam sale, I just need time to play the darn thing! : )

Well, so far only Source games are confirmed to work on a Mac. Besides, Mac's...10% audience(?) is kind of minor and they wouldn't be the kind of gamers to be swayed onto Windows anyway, judging by the fact they've already picked a Mac with it's non-existent gaming capabilities. I doubt Microsoft execs are crying in the corner right now, because if anything, Steam with only it's Source-games will act like a demo that's more likely to attract would-be Mac gamers onto Windows machines strictly because of how much more content WinSteam would offer.

Wow, I'm surprised such a question was asked and I'm happy that he'd love to see the games on PC. The ability for mods, playing on a laptop, playing at higher graphical settings, etc. pretty sweet for any game to come to PC! : )

Too bad Microsoft would vehemently oppose it. : (

Weren't those MS PR Police using scoped shotguns if I recall? It shouldn't be that hard to get around them.

I'm a PC fanboy right now, what do you expect? ; )
I did own consoles, I am still a console gamer, I'm just in a PC fanboy mode right now and I'm sure that will change in the future, probably when the next-gen consoles come out.

As a man who only misses the 360 in his setup (don't kill me!) I'd love for it to come to the PC to see what all this Fable fuss is about.

To be fair, the fuss is more about Molyneux than Fable itself, the series has always been more of a decent action-adventure title than anything particularly revolutionary. But with Molyneux poo-pooing the former and promising the latter, it's an always entertaining fiery tailspin of PR until the crash of reality that is retail release.

Decent games, but the man lost touch with reality back in the days of Black & White, and has yet to find it since.

I´m not really surprised, Molyneux has always been a p.c. guy, all of the old lionhead games were released for the pc. It´s a shame all of them sucked so much that he had to "join" forces with microsoft to stay in the business. I really miss the old Molyneux, that guy who created some of the most amazing games with bullfrog, this peter.. well, let´s just say that if fable 2 never appears on the p.c. i could live with that......

yeah, pc, the platform of the past, present and future. Fable the lost chapters on pc was greatly successful and i personally was devistated that the second one wasn't released on pc and in my opinion that is what made it such a terrible game.

Fable 3 for pc most likely not going to happen but why not keep pushing?
