I hate dyslexia. I read this as Silent Hill 5 (throughtout the entire article) and wondered where the submarines came from.

I don't give a damn about swastikas (which are NOT nazi-exclusive), but I'm very offended by the 'symbol' "DRM".

"because someone was able to play long enough to see a swastika."

Unless, of course, it came on extra material with the game. Not as content in the game itself.

German law forbids the display of the swastika unless it is a historical context. I am guessing a video game doesn't qualify.

A new world war against an old foe; DRM? Or would that be an old war for a new foe?

So wait in a country where it is illegal to deny the holocaust it's also banned the swastika symbol from their games?

German law allows swastikas to be displayed in art, as long as it is done in context. Unfortunately, german law doesn't see videogames as art. Hence you have swastikas in Indiana Jones 3, the movie, but black squares in Indiana Jones 3, the videogame.
