Medal of Honor trailer defines Tier One Operative (in case you were wondering)
77
The latest trailer for EA's upcoming reboot of the Medal of Honor series, which debuted this week on GTTV, really goes out of its way to explain exactly the kind of gentlemen you'll be piloting this summer. These guys are Tier One Operators -- "experts in the application of violence." That seems pretty self-explanatory ... but we've never been able to turn down a video featuring expertly applied violence. Check it out after the break.

Back when i used to play World of Warcraft, a difference of even a few FPS was huge. So a leap from 30 to 60 seems pretty noticeable to me.

I didn't get Modern Warfare 2 because it didn't seem like it was exciting enough. I don't know, buy after Modern Warfare, I decided I had seen enough.
After seeing this trailer for Medal of Honor, I'm thinking Day 1 buy! It looks crazy. A type of military game which I've been looking for. I hope it turns out to be good. Probably one of the better trailers I've seen for a game in a while (ending was nice)

You know, I've seen this Modern Warfare: Tier One trailer on several sites now... and suddenly about 3 days later I've just realised that it isn't Modern Warfare at all, it's Medal of Honor!! doh.

Soooooooooo, um , just thowing this out there, but what did the Afghanis ever do to deserve the entire world rolling in and shitting all over the place for the past 30 years...?
Cool! Now there's a video game where I get to play one a member of an elite squad of army personnel who've been sent in to kill a bunch of dudes whose only goal is to get the world to leave their country alone!
It's like making a video game out of the movie "Red Dawn", but having you play as one of the invading Soviets...

Agree with your comment 100% but get ready to be down voted by all the fools here who know nothing about the history of the region

Im pretty sure the game is about killing Afghan terrorist, not the afghan civilians/Military *_*. FFS and the worst part is your comment gets voted up by sheep who know nothing of current events.

Damn. This game looks pretty crazy. It's definitely got a different aesthetic and "art style" to it then MW2, which I like and I think is a smart move. It also seems to be taking a more serious approach to war then MW2, which I also think is a smart move. Don't necessarily think that's better or worse, just different. It's all in the execution. I really liked MW2s campaign, so I don't think the action style war movie is a bad thing at all.
You guys all shit on MW2, but I think it's a pretty damn good game. Likewise, I'm looking forward to this. Not as much the multiplayer, but more then campaign. At that point I'll be gearing up for Halo: Reach.

multi is being dice. I'm really not sure what to expect though. I love battlefield, and I'm really not sure how dice can change that up for MoH

Slaziman: what do you think they should do, then? Sit around and hope that things turn out for the best? The United States would still be a puppet of the British government if everyone had the same attitude as you...

I'll get this if they make this brutally realistic like the first Ghost Recon, but with less of that super-accurate enemy AI who can headshot you 700 meters away with an AK.

It's kind of hard to get excited over this after games like MW2 and BC 2 have already come out so it is a bit easy to label this game as another modern military shooter.

I'm really hoping this game is better than Modern Warfail 2. MoH was once a good wwII shotting game, im sure they can make a good comeback.

The ideas that 30fps and 60fps are interchangeable and that the "human eye" can't tell a difference between the two is laughable. I have a background in video and most times can tell a difference between 24fps and 30fps when I shoot. It's fair to say the difference doesn't matter to you. That's fine if you just don't care. But there IS a difference...

Ditto to this. I remember when I first played Metal Gear Solid 3 (which ran at 30 fps), one of the first things I noticed about the game was that the animation was not as smooth as MGS2 (which ran at 60 fps), and that was before I even knew what "frames per second" meant. There is most definitely a difference.

That was really impressive. I am pretty much sold on this game already just based off that trailer. If they give me a reason not to be expecting the game to be awesome my tune will change. That just completely blew me away.

Hrm, this might be a game to check out. Will fill my twitch FPS void most likely.
