If you've been holding out on buying an Xbox 360 for the last five years you live in Canada, you'll be totally psyched to hear that the Arcade bundle of Microsoft's console is currently on sale in for $130.
The Xbox Canada site lists the price drop for both Futureshop and Best Buy, though we also found it over at Amazon Canada and GameStop Canada. Get 'em while you can! We've followed up with Microsoft to clarify whether or not this is a permanent change for our Canadian friends, and, of course, if we'll be seeing a similar sale/price drop in the US.

Great. We'll all be able to use it as toilet paper soon, that's about what it's worth...

I'll continue here with my crusade of pointing out Joystiq's inconsistencies with reporting deals: Xbox 360 deals almost always end up on the main page, PS3 hardware deals are almost always posted on PS3 specific page, which doesn't really make sense since majority of people visiting the PS3 site most likely already own one.

This is a one week only deal.
Its not meant to be blowing out Arcade stock since stock isn't that good to begin with. (Tried to buy an Arcade over the weekend, and yesterday, failed because of out of stock)
Its more of getting share back from PS3 and pre-empting the God Of War III launch.
People only have so much money to spend on gaming per month right?
I'm hoping to pick one up for the Windows Media Xtender as well!
Hopefully I'll find one in stock soon.

As someone who has purchased a # of extra 360 arcades to use as Windows Media Center extenders....
If they get the 360 down to 130$ for US.........its a no brainer to buy a 2nd one.
Especially now that you can install CableCard Tuners into Windows Media Center 7 machines.
