Marathon was the game that first made me a Bungie fan. I hope they are bringing it back.

Thankfully now that Bungie is no longer in MS's choke which they put themselves in they will finally bring their content to the PS3 and what a better way than Marathon.

Watch the ending to Halo 3. Of course they're bringing back Marathon (if you'll think back to the beginning of the first game).

Well the obvious assumption is a series reboot for Marathon, so instead I'm going to guess that they're launching a Marathon-themed airline.

Speculating what Bungie (or pretty much anyone) is going to do is pointless. I say just sit back and watch.

(My money is on some kind of Marathon thing for XBLA, btw)

*takes stutterwaves money* They already have marathon on xbox live arcade.

I would think that it could possibly be a retcon of the franchise with halo: reach or beyond graphics. For now its a wait and see.

Unless your correct, in which case you don't have to wait for anything. Worth the risk of being completely wrong only to rewarded with a new game or engine or w/e else it could be.
Tell me, is the cup half full or half empty? :)

Bungie Aerospace -- it's obvious, they're developing a space program so you can live out Halo.

"Oh, and no, Bungie won't be joining the Richard Garriotts and John Carmacks of the world in heading into outer space,"
Um, actually that is exactly what is happening. Scratch your heads now but welcome to the private space age. Going Up Ain't no thang.
They have ZERO aerospace infrastructure for the moment, so they're patenting through the video game sect.
There will only be one Bungie.
"Boldy going to outer space" -Bungie Aerospace
They'll be operating in two industries in no time.
We'll hear about the game engine before we have confirmation about Aerospace plans. Probably the next game too. Then everyone will be like.. but what about Bungie Aero.... OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!
(keep in mind you can take a bus to nevada anyday of the week, with a 100 million bucks in your pocket, and leave with a space station) Good luck patenting a transaction thats a few years away. lol SPACE IS HERE DO NOT FEAR.
Speculation is a function of the human brain, they also believe dolphins may have a feature similar, get over it or move to Russia.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Aerospace could be some kind of engine or technology that Bungie were planning to licence out. But don't quote me on that.

Man, I wish Bungie would stick around to make Halo 4. I'm sure Reach will be great and all, but H3 and the books left so many unanswered questions, and if Halo Legends is any indication, I don't think 343 are the perfect people to do it

He deployed a trip mine half way through, too, so that made it quite a bit more difficult. The birth footage is brutal.

One thing's for sure - they can't make a new Marathon without the voice of BOB. It just wouldn't be right. They're everywhere!

I hope they make a sequel to Oni. While I know I'm in a minority, Oni remains to this day one of my favorite games of all time. Combat was so much fun.

Oh good, at least they're not really heading into the Aerospace business. My first thought was, "WTF, NOW Bungie's following in Carmack's footstep? Wtf?" Richard Garriott doesn't really equate to John Carmack. He's just a tourist wannabe who had a joyride, whereas Carmack's actually in the Aerospace business. His relation to space costs him money, whereas Carmack's earns him money.

In their goofy 7 step plan to take over the world, the last step involves shooting enemies into sun with giant slingshot.
So it make sense that this step, requires some aerospace technology for the slingshot...
