"Motion controls are supposed to make games more immersive"

then every game that ever used them failed, they merely added novelty

First time I saw this game, I immediately questioned why it was a Move game. It would definitely be better with the DS3 if you ask me. It's a shame, cause it looked pretty damn fun...

-Sigh- The PlayStation Move and Project Natal is going to bring even more shovel-ware to this generation.

Not to mention further splintering of the market (bad). Look at all these levels of variance...

Base Model: 20/60gb w/hardware emulation, 80gb w/software emulation, PS3 phats with no PS2 emu, PS3 slim. Look at y2k10 and GTA4 glitches for proof of systems being different

Sixaxis vs Dual Shock 3.
PS3 Eye or not?
Now you add in "Move Equipped?" to the panel of variables. It's getting ridiculous. May not seem like a big deal, but when more development funds have to go into testing / implementing all these different features, I'm sure that hurts other areas that could use the funding. Testing for one.

f*** you Wii owners. You're killing this generation.

"Slider is one of the first PlayStation Move-enabled games to come out Sony's Japan Studios. It's also a perfect example of a game that's significantly hampered by uninspired motion control design." AND SO IT BEGINS!

the problem with alot of motion controls in games now is they try put to shit like jump into a movement. plain and simple its a pain in the ass to do, nobody likes it. Jump is way better suited to a button.

i really don't get why casual gamers is such a coveted gaming demographic. powergamers will never accept motion control and will always spend more money. casual gamers generate a lot of bank but shouldn't be catered to with specific hardware.

oh well, as long as real games are made for thumbs and buttons, i'll keep playing

why not be like me and try to enjoy both? Sometimes a step back from the norm is nice. Playing the same old button mashers gets boring after a while. Very boring.

Because Nintendo managed to tap the casual demographic with the Wii and are now swimming in pools of money?

who are you to declare that we will never accept motion control? Some of us already have, most are neutral, there are only a few irreconcilables.

I thought this game looked stupid anyway so no big loss. I can't help but thinking this was in development for the SixAxis and was then changed though based off of this report. Maybe though it's SUPPOSED to be difficult? It IS Japanese afterall.

Oh well.. It looked like a promising title. Too bad HD graphics and "charm" can't redeem shovelware.

I can only pray that Natal and its lack of controller is going to force people to stop thinking like this. The last thing we need are more "wave your arms around rapidly" games.

Sounds like one of the more original concepts to work with Move. This is the sort of thing Sony should be promoting.

Aw, come on, they can't all be home runs, right? Or stand-up triples? Bloop singles?
