The combo related trophies were rather simple for both games in the GOW collection, I can't imagine why this one would be much more difficult.

That thing's been pretty useless since it was introduced - not to mention how little it was updated. Just use the sites dedicated to the activity, such as ps3trophies.org. The site combined with the forum are a hefty way to approach collecting some trophies, if you're into that sort of thing.

You gotta be out of your mind to think I'm going to try that second one. I'd rather play a part where there are a ton of enemies, keep failing, and retry for an hour that sit there and do that for 20 minutes.
Are there really no other good spots in this game? I'm not far into it. But in GoW 1 and 2 in the GoW Collection, I always got the combo trophies whenever Kratos got a new power, then you had to fight off the enemies with the power until you could continue. During that, they give you an unlimited blue bar.

the best spot is right after you beat hades and the enemies spawn so you can try your new soul summon magic. keep using L1 and O like in this vid.

I found the best spot after the fight with Hermes. You run into three shield wielding zombies and by using the Hades weapon you can pull a 1300 combo off them before they "die".

Wouldn't it be easier to use the Hercules fight since it has infinite minions coming at you?

Also very good point is the part just before Poisedon's wife. When infinite dogs start spawning at you, don't kick them to the portal, but start killing them with R1+square. After Hitman trophy, you can burn then from the Bow for another trophy, and kick them all around for the third.

You can easily get this trophy when you fight the giant scorpion towards the end. Just go under the scorpion to its very back legs. From this spot, the scorpion can not attack you. Then, just press square 1000 times, using the blades of exile. The blades of exile are not powerful enough to damage the scorpion, so you're basically in a perfect situation where you can endless strike something and not worry about getting killed in the process. I have to say though, this trophy was tedious as hell to get: nothing but mindless button-mashing for 20 minutes.

A much easier way that I accidentally discovered, is to break the onyx off all of the legs but one on the giant scorpion boss and then just hit the legs that are already defeated like crazy with your fastest weapon. it counts as hits but doesnt do damage and the scorpion doesnt do anything to you if you keep whaling on its legs.
