You'll notice that the guy in the videos is using a DSi XL -- we can tell you that, after seeing the hardware running D.I.Y. in person, the hefty handheld's humongous screens really are great for editing sprites and other details, as is the pen-sized stylus. Either that, or our eyesight really is getting worse.
WarioWare D.I.Y. videos show you how to ... D.I.Y.

That's why you can just download other people's creations.

I don't know about you, but my rocket teleports left and right repeatedly, so I'd say this checks out.

You made downloadable minigames that had hectic quick-shifting patterns that's able to be played on a handheld???
CRAZY!
...and btw: Just because you did it when you were twelve, doesn't mean other people did. Just because a man remixed songs when he was 10, doesn't mean he should expect everyone to think that the newest version of a mixer is best for them. Just because a woman could do a 3-point shot from the other side of the court with an 80% accuracy, doesn't mean she can say it should be easy for everyone else. Just because a boy could origami masterpieces, doesn't mean other people are jokes when they're only getting at his stage when they're 20.
God you're an ass. I made full-fledged RPGs when I was 13! You know what I think when people use a dumbed-down RPG-creator when they're 21?
I think: Thank the heavens you didn't waste your early teen years crammed on a computer and got nasty zits for it like I did! And hey, that RPG-creator looks fun, I'd love to make streamlined RPGs without having to prepare all that crap I do with that darn program on my computer! I COULD HAVE FUN WITH IT!

This reminds me of a watered down version of Klik and Play, or most recently Multimedia Fusion 2. This isn't bad, but if you want to do more, check out MMF2.

@Dastarokka Most people stick to Flash, but that's cool too. But the point of this isn't to make games. It's to make WARIOWARE games. The point of WarioWare games was to be quick, silly, crazy, and fun. Several minigames thrown at you with a time limit, alternating games that try to throw you off your game, going faster and faster after each game you beat, sprinkled with ridiculous humor that you honestly wouldn't be laughing at by itself. Instead this time, we make it. ...then letting your friends play it.
We're not looking for things that'll help us make games, we're looking at this to help us make warioware minigames. ...a whole different section of the minigame-verse, one that we love.
I'm sure we can make the games on that, buut... we want to play it on our handhelds, in this specific form, and share it with one another to have a few laughs. It's "watered down" for a reason, so that people can make quick games without much effort - more time spent playing than creating.
