I should probably pick this up. I need something to wash the taste of Little Big Planet PSP out of my UMD drive. This, Gran Turismo, and ModNation Racers should do the trick.

If a handheld game is digital then why wouldn't you choose that over a physical copy?

Lots of people prefer having physical copies. I'm one of them. I'll buy a digital only game, but if it has a physical release I will always choose that option.

I too prefer the physical copy when there's a choice. Especially when there's zero price difference.

See, I like physical copies better too. I just think it's very impractical with a handheld.

I agree they are, however I prefer knowing that years later (untill the CD loses the data or fragments) I'll have my copy. Granted sony's more then likely going to keep the PSN aslong as they're making consoles. So I don't mind owning from PSN, just I like being able to showcase my games.

As far as I'm concerned, the only advantage to physical copies is that you can pick them up for less than full-price pretty often (discounted or second hand). However, in general I'd rather have a PSP game digitally since I find the UMD drive to be extremely noisy.

What about a complete release for the PS3? I don't understand why they won't release the "deluxe" aspects for the PS3 but will do so for the PSP.

If the PS3 could play PSP games I'd have bought the digital version of it when it came out.

I'm aware, just I hate the feel of the PSP. There's about 10 games I want on it, and I just hate the feel of it. If the PS3 could play PSP games I'd be buying some of their Digital games, which they'd atleast get some software sales there. I know a few other people who're in the same boat as me. If they did this they might lose out on hardware sales for the PSP but it could be a nice marketing strategy for the PS3. Play PS3,1, and PSP games? Sounds good to me, consindering they took out 2 support. Besides, they wouldn't completely lose out on PSP sales. Some people would want to take their games on the go, so they'd buy a PSP and transfer them over there.

Really though PSP needs any software sales boost it can get with it's rampant piracy.

If the PS3 could play PSP games there would be almost no need for a PSP. It would cut so deeply into disc sales on the PSP that it would be ridiculous.

If people wanted to play mobile they'd still buy the PSP. Also, as if PSP software (disc or digital) are all that good now? I've seen a lot of people with PSPs, and out of them I've seen maybe 2 people buy a PSP game.

@ Aquacharger: I wasn't fond of the PSP either... however I did buy the go and I'm happy with that. I got the component AV cables and my ps3 controller synced up to it, so I use it like a little mini console when I'm at home. Its all PSP without the feel of PSP. Fun stuff!

I was thinking of doing that but I don't want to pay so much for another console to simply run 10 games. I also heard there was a lot of lag doing so. Plus, PSP battery life angers me.

Just as a console I felt the PSP to be bad, but it's games I like. I'll more then likely end up just doing that though in the long run.

It's one of about three titles that have kept me using my second PSP, else I'd have major buyer's remorse. If you were holding out for the UMD, get this ASAP. Alongside Plants Vs Zombies, it's definitely a better example of the tower defense genre.

I don't get your point?

You don't need a PSP Go to download a game from the Playstation Network. You can download it to your normal PSP without a problem.

I'll buy this. Downloads hardly ever go for less than MSRP on the PSN, and it coming to retail stores means a much better chance of grabbing it for less.

Plus, I'm probably one of the 10 people in the world who like UMDs. :)
