According to BioWare, an upcoming DLC pack for Mass Effect 2 -- the Alternate Appearance Pack -- will feature new outfits for "your favorite squad members." Apparently, you don't like Miranda, Jacob, Grunt or Mordin, because this pack includes new costumes for Garrus, Thane, and Jack.
While these new outfits seem like an appropriate fit for the Cerberus Network, this is actually the second announced premium DLC offering for Mass Effect 2. Available on March 23rd, the pack will set you back $2 on Xbox 360 or PC. Let's hope the upcoming Kasumi's Stolen Memories add-on will be a bit more reasonably priced than these costumes.

I see the logic in it. Alt. costumes are for the hardcore, while extra mission DLC people would def. feel more entitled to.

Miranda blows. Fuck that Cerberus bitch.
Jack looks pretty bad ass here. The look kinda feels like Shadowrun or Matrix.
If this included something for Mordin instead of Thane I would have bitten. Thane is so lame though. I am glad to see Garrus in a non-funkd version.

Although the new costume looks cool, frankly, I like the fact that Garrus keeps wearing his blue C-Sec armor. It's like him giving a big "fuck you" to the C-Sec bureaucracy that he always felt was limiting him.

Aww, why they gotta charge for this?
Not that i have a thing against putting m oney in mass effect, the game is fucking awesome, but as the column writer said, it seemed to fit the Cerberus Network better...

Yeah you're right, Jack is pretty hot in a 'bald and covered in tattoos' kinda way.

I just don't understand how Jack can see with that strip of duct-tape on her face. And it looks like Thane has become a douche-bag.

Looks like she's borrowing Kevin Butler's glasses. He must have traveled even farther into the future to lend them to her.

What a colossal failure Cerberus network turned out to be. Wasn't the whole point that they would give us this little stuff for free at least? Great incentive to buy new, you get the same crap that was just cut out of the game.
All that while pirates get all this extra stuff for free.
Final Fantasy 13 has 100 hours of gameplay, I'll just go back to that

has turned out to be? So 2 months and it's over? Give it a chance man, they haven't even really started doing stuff yet. I don't know why I'm even bothering. This is the only post you've ever made in your account history of today. Obviously this is just another troll, gtfo.

Well, to his credit, all the stuff on the Cerberus Network has been available since before the game launched. Everything including the up-and-coming Firewallker was available since before day one. They have been available in different promotions and such. The glitch a couple of days before the game launched had all the DLC on the Marketplace to download for free. The only content not included on that day was 'Alternate Appearance Pack' and 'Kasumi: Stolen Memories.' So it looks as though the free ride with Cerberus Network is over after Firewalker comes out.

The firewalker stuff, Zaeed, Kasumi, Arc projector, cerberus armor, were not available through any promotions at all. Think this through a little bit. Because of a glitch that had some things available, that means there won't be anything else? What? That's a huge assumption that there won't be any more DLC after that. Why would they have stuff that isn't even finished uploaded? A day one glitch is not proof at all. I'm positive the only stuff available was only the dr pepper stuff, and certainly not firewalker and the other stuff.

Well, perhaps not all of the content was on there to begin with. Zaeed certainly would have, had they not been having problems with it and had to delay it. I didn't see the Firewalker content in that list as I thought I had in my previous post.
But you can see the content coming that it would seem plausible that the free content is ending and the rest would be premium. Three new outfits are $2, and the Kasumi content is premium as well (thought previous content of that sort were free).
I never entered my Cerberus Network code, none of the content sparked much of an interest. So I gave my brother the code when I mailed him the game play. Although the Kasumi content has me very interested, and will be a definite purchase when it releases (assuming the price isn't too high).

what's important to note is the other things that aren't on that list. The Cerberus armor, firewalker, and Arc projector were all missing, and they were still free. I think they're charging for Kasumi because they know people really want new characters because that's one of the best parts of the game. But i'm sure they'll keep making more free stuff. It might just be more guns and armor here and there, but it's something at least, and if Firewalker is as good as it seems that'll be worth buying it new in itself

I'd rather this be more armor for Commander Shepard in addition to the crew. I might be weak enough to succumb to the avatar marketplace, but these costumes dont even look cool and arent even for Shep or the entirety of the crew.

Give me ME1's armors please? I'd sacrifice 50 elcor poets to the Collectors to get the Colossus armor from ME1 in ME2. Something about that shiny red and black armor just made me feel badass.

I felt like an idiot because it was more like a bright orange/pink color. I do like the basic structure of some of the armors from ME1 better, like what Conrad wears in ME2 or the suit at the prologue to ME2.
