Am I the only one who liked the Mako vehicle? Sniping fools in that thing was fun. The controls were not as bad as people make it out to be.

It'd be even nerdier if he properly de-capitalized the species names, krogan and geth, like it's properly done in-game.

Great. More ME2 content can only be a good thing.

I'm honestly curious to see how this thing controls. Bioware must feel confident that it's better if they went down this road again (or off the road, in the Mako's case).

What are you guys talking about? The Mako was awesome! What with the speed block sized hills causing you to bounce like it was made of fluber, the "fantastic" vehicle rag-doll effects, and even the worlds where you would have to inch up near 90 degree slopes just to get resources to by a Geth gun that though powerful at the time would later prove to be junk!

I loved that piece of shi- I mean piece of gold!

Alexander continues to capitalize species names from Mass Effect(that last line about krogans and geth), despite them NEVER being capitalized in-universe(or in-game), which is actually the proper way of doing it. I mentioned this the last time you did it, plus it's done that way in-game for every mention of a species name. It's not that hard to notice this. It'd be like capitalizing Dog, or Human. "The Human walked his Dog." doesn't look right does it?

RogueJedi continues to leave out spaces between words and parenthetical clauses, despite this being incorrect in Chicago style (and MLA!), which is the proper way of doing it (in fact, it's done this way in every instance of the English language). It's not that hard to notice this. It'dbelikeleavingoutspacesbetweenallyourwords. Doesn't look right, does it?

Okay now aristokrat, that was a typo. But I'll take your advice. I won't do it again. Will my minor spelling correction be heeded?

Also, I have to maintain my very huge "nerd cred" by knowing stuff like the proper rules of species capitalization in Mass Effect. I wouldn't want to disappoint my nerd posse.

I like the Mako, it was fun to fool around it - they just used it entirely wrong in the game relying on it in places they shouldn't have. People like screwing around, people don't like being made to screw around in tedious fashion.

Anything is better than the cancerous bore of scanning planets in a brain dead state.

The Mako gave a sense of discovery, space exploration, but as you put it Mabui, it was used on the wrong places. I think I'm the only one, apart from Jessica Chobot, to agree that the lifts were better than a static loading screen, with useless crap littered about.

At the very least the lifts kept the game contuinity intact. Instead of fragmenting the playing field. A game needs to load, period, and lifts are far better than a static screen, it also let us into the character interaction as we waited.

Bring back Mako and the lifts!!! :D

I concur as well. The lifts were def way better load screen. Plus I hatee how every game now has to tell you how to play during these static screens.

"indenary damages organic, distruper damages synthetic."
Wow! Really ? It does?? Oh wait.. It says that when you highlight the ammo type during gameplay or while in the squad's level up screen.

"Armor isn't just stylish, it also increases your characters health, shields, or damage. "
OMFG! no way!! Sooo that's why when it says "+5% power damage" when I switched to those new gauntles. I had no idea what that meant until that load screen explained it.

Ughhh hate it! It's seriously in like every game these days.

See, it wasn't the controls of the Mako that sucked. The controls were simple. LS moved. RS aimed. Some other buttons used the jets, gun, etc.

It was the ridiculous landscape physics. The fact that some areas forced you to drive what is essentially a tank up 80 degree inclines (or take a 10 mile detour around them). I'm sure people can agree that the Mako levels on Feros and Ilos were easy driving, because they didn't contain mountains made of Teflon!

I have to agree. I think the Mako gets a bad rap. I liked driving the Mako, there was just too much ground to cover in it, especially with so much of that ground being idiotically difficult to traverse. The tedium was the land, not the car.
