Mass Effect 2 'Firewalker' DLC coming March 23

Commander Shepard can pick up the keys to the Hammerhead hover tank on March 23, the official release date of the Firewalker pack. The new wheels, er, propulsion things are the latest piece of free Mass Effect 2 DLC. Available through the game's Cerberus Network, the pack includes five missions that utilize the new vehicle -- which will hopefully handle a little better than the first game's infamous space car.

(Of course, a drunk krogan successfully engineering a geth self-destruct algorithm was more likely to yield success than the Mako's control system ... )

Mark, the answer is (unfortunately): toxic industrial compounds which can, under the right circumstances, be released into your food if your pan is scratched or overheated.

I agree, to a certain degree, but far removed is the fact that there was no real incentive to most of the Mako missions. I loved them all, but I'm just me, and weird in that sense that I loved exploring and just taking my time, driving as the gale force wind howled from my speakers.

It was just too much of the same shit in a mirror image world, no diversity between planets and mission interiors, which is what also put many off as well. See for Mass effect 2 they could have at least kept the Mako missions, but made us fight for the resources instead. Fighting certain merc groups who have taken hostage of said mines and hostages. Diversity, it just lacked it on the first one and a n incentive to explore.

I never found the controls of the Mako to be THAT much of a game breaker (PC). Then again, I ignored the side missions and only did the story parts with it. That helped.
