Or, you know, you could just buy it for the Wii or play it on someone else Wii.

I'm like you foetoid! I just got Fragile instead of GoW3 for my PS3. I play both equally, but currently have too manyPS3 games unfinished. I don't even own any of the Mario games for my Wii (I've brawl but hate it and I know it's not a Mario game) but I've like 21 games for my Wii and like 10 for my PS3. I'm putting off getting wii games untill I can get my PS3 number a bit higher, but I'm picking up a few here and there. Problem comes with multiplats. Do I get it Wii, PS3, or PC? Like Sam and Max season 2 I'm thinking Wii.

I never entirely got the people who complained about Brawl for not being like Melee. Brawl improved on most things, and its only nitpickers who complain about tripping, which is rare
Brawl balanced what Melee horribly unbalanced, namely making the fast characters disproportionately strong and broken, and Brawl added Final Smashes, another great leveler, though they stupidly made them optional just like items
Plus Brawl made Kirby strong again, so that i could actually use him for multiplayer purposes just like in the original, instead of having to default to Marth all the time.

SSBM was great, SSBB slowed it down but balanced it out... made it easier for newcomers to come in and get a chance to take on the pros. But the pros would still outclass them if they were good enough.
...I wouldn't sell my Wii just because one game sucked.
I wouldn't sell any of my systems because one game sucked.
I wouldn't even sell any of my systems if 100 games sucked.
...you always miss out on the great games in them. No matter how few, you'll always be "the one that missed out" on the greatness that was a great game.
Expecting something to be ported was never a part of my gaming life. ...too many games made only for certain systems that never transferred over, too many games staying in their own countries that never made stateside. I've had to buy systems that I had deep grudges against just to play these games (I'm looking at you Playstation).
Point is: Gaming isn't about systems, it's about the games.
Selling systems isn't as "smart" as most people think... they always regret it sometime down the road (whether it's jealousy of good games being released or missing your favorite games you used to play).

I've never really liked the Smash Bros series. No, what made me really not like Brawl was how most stages were un-eventful.

I already own a PS3 and Xbox so it's hard to drop a few hundred (think about not only console but controllers and games) to invest in another system, especially when the main draw for that system (motion controls) will be coming to the PS3...... Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Me too! I'm so sad I switched my pre-order to Fragile. Fragile's good, but now I want to get this.

I rather like RS2's sense of style (would you say it's an Eastern Western?) and most of the recent impressions have been good... but I'm gonna wait for the final reviews on it before I consider playing it.

Yes, the real star of the original Project Needlemouse...
Before Sega weaseled out of their agreement with Nintendo, and turned it into Sonic 4.

I honestly haven't been paying much attention to this game at all, and obviously I'm totally missing out. The art style and aesthetic is gorgeous, and in some ways it seems like it's grabbing for some of the fantasy/realism blend Kojima is known for so as to create their own dynamic set of characters and villains. And that's a really good thing for me.
This trailer has changed my outlook on the game entirely. It couldn't be a bigger blip on my radar. Too bad it comes out the same day I'll be getting Mass Effect 2 DLC. :\

I'm not quite inspired, my expectations exceed at least four periods. I'm disappointed.

Because having a black Wii is clearly a hate crime.

It wouldn't be a problem if Ubisoft decided to use Motionplus, either.

Game looks great, but I'll wait to see the reviews before getting it - because with carefully selected bullshots/concept art and sufficient hype about the controls, at launch time the first game looked great too. :)
(Don't get me wrong I'm sure it will be better than the first one, the question is just how much.)
