Media Molecule's latest exercise in LittleBigPlanet creativity -- a Contraption Challenge in which players had to build clever water-traversing vehicles -- has borne some pretty delicious fruits. The six finalists' creations can be seen in the video above, but first place (a title that comes with a copy of LittleBigPlanet PSP and a PSP Go) went to Asbestos101's "Crouching Boat, Hidden Car."
We can't wait to see what the next LBP challenge will require from its players -- perhaps an AI construct built from simple switches and levers that's capable of love?

Man, while I love the Jet Ski, I can't get past the fact it can't transform back into a car. The pirate ship at the beginning was pretty amazing, in my mind. I just wish the switch mechanic was on a button instead of all key switches.
Still, all of them are awesome. I especially love the simplistic genius of the wheel one.

I'm feeling a bit of disappointment. I've built that "Crazy Wheel" a half dozen times and I've never tried it in the water. To think, if ever I had, I might be a part of an internet sensation, now.
Sigh...
