Despite what you may assume, we're not the sort of people who'd buy ourselves a steampunk Game Boy like the Thretris-created model you see above (see it in action after the break). We are, however, the sort of people who'd use our popular internet website to politely request that our readers buy said Game Boy from eBay and send it to us for a holiday of their choice. It probably seems a little ethically dicey to the layman, but ethics are really complicated (they have whole college courses about them!) so you shouldn't feel too bad about yourself for not understanding.
Hey, speaking of things you should or shouldn't do, did you bid on that steampunk Game Boy yet?
Cyberpunk Gameboy should have a custom metal case sprayed black but with the spraypaint already slightly coming off at the edges. Some random wires and tubes (you know... green cooling liquid or something) exiting the case at one place and entering it at another would be awesome, but most importantly it should take advantage of the classic Gameboy having a separated board that looks like they duct taped 2 boards onto each other. I'm thinking clamshell so you could always open it and look at its (maybe red or blue lit) guts. Of course if anyone ever manages to build a custom dot matrix display thingy it should be green on black. Of course these modifications would be too expensive for anyone to do.
