Here's a deal that Sam Fisher would come out of hiding for: Amazon is offering pre-orders of Splinter Cell: Conviction for Xbox 360 at the low price of $46.99 for the standard edition. All you need to do in order to get the discount is enter the code SPLINTER at checkout and $5 will be deducted from your total (the retailer is selling the game at an already-discounted $51.99 to begin with). Additionally, the coupon code also works on the PC version, if that's how you like to roll. If you liked the recently-released demo and are looking to get your hands dirty with the full-version, it's the best deal we've seen yet.
Yes, it might seem a little too easy, but we have Third Echelon's assurance that this isn't some sort of elaborate trap. (The "security device" enclosed? Totally not a tracking beacon.)

That's a really good deal. I hope I don't regret letting this go cause I have the LE preodered @ work.
To me, I thought the demo was great. I can't wait to play the actual game. MGS4 is my game but I bought a 360 for Splinter Cell Conviction. Boy I'm glad this game may turn out to be that AAA game i hoped it'd be.

Ubisoft has made Conviction into a Metal Gear clone. If you liked MGS4, you'll like Conviction. If you like Splinter Cell, I'd recommend renting it or skipping it completely. Mind you, my opinions are based on the demo.

I love this game and glad that finally there is some freedom associated with it. After playing the demo I will pre-order this. I didn't like the previous splinter cells as they felt to linear to me. Example your toe drifts out of the shadow into the light *fail* game over start again.... I hated that crap. Now it seems you can go quiet stealthy or make a little noise if you prefer.
