Geometry Wars 2 is awesome for that price if you don't own it yet. Me, it was one of the first games I downloaded for it...

I'll be picking up Mega Man 10, Magic: The Gathering DLC and the MW2 map pack.

Gaah, Geometry Wars 2 sends money to Activision. I have to pass.

I'll pick up Virtual On, though.

Holy shit, I just got coffee all over my keyboard. Nope, not because I love the hell out of Magic: The Gathering, but because I can FINALLY get Operation Darkness to work on my EU 360. Heck, I own both the Japanese AND U.S. version already, and now I can download it on my japanese account.

You might think it's shit, but fuck that; I think it's great, and now I can finally play it again!

It *is* shit. That's not to say that there isn't fun to be had with it, but it's painfully shit in so many ways.

The controls are horrible. Very unintuitive, with precious little guidance from the HUD. The camera controls are laughably bad. Situational awareness is near-zero thanks to the horrible camera and lack of mini-map.

The dialog is awful, and the voice acting is passable at best.

The gameplay, while good at times, is needlessly punishing at others. Wiping on a single characters death, forcing you to replay an entire hour-long mission is a rookie game-design error.

Don't get me wrong, I own the game, and I it was well worth the 15 bucks that I paid for it, but mainly because I *like* shit games :)

Well, I have played the first about 14 missions, when one of my friends had a US 360 - I found it to be extremely funny, partially due to the fact that it is a "shit" game.

1) I found no problem with the controls, and I honestly don't understand all that bitching about the camera, I've never had that much of a problem with it And hey, as far as I can remember, at least, you CAN in fact use a minimap, by pressing one of the buttons.

2) I have no problem with the dialogue (It wasn't THAT bad), nor the voice acting, and it's the Japanese version I can get to play now, so I give a shit about both, honestly - I can't understand it anyway.

3) Have you been playing MW2? In that case, you need to stop immediately, and return back to a game which is actually just remotedly hard. Which, I grant you that, Operation Darkness is. I tried to play Joan d'Arc, a PSP game much like this, once. I was DISSAPOINTED when my character returned to me in the next battle, after dying in one of them. Seriously, it's a STRATEGIC RPG, people SHOULD die and stay dead, :/.

The character death thing - yeah, it might be annoying, but I actually enjoyed the trial-and-error factor it gave the game, and I had no problem with spending a whole lot of hours on one mission

Oh dear, I must be insane. Or, I must have incredibly low standards. Probably both, honestly.
