So... two press conferences?

There's gonna be a whole lot of flailing around.

You'd figure Peter Moore *wink wink* would know better than to think they will be showing demos with the pre-milestone builds of Natal like they have up until this point. The current builds are pretty amazing, no flailing required, but it does make you that much cooler if you do.

If yes, then wrap me up with Morph156.

I am sure that someone will come up with some sort of Natal-detectable wand, for the Harry Potters amongst us. As for me, I am just gonna use the force, Luke.

The idea of being able to control the dashboard with the hands alone is the big draw to me. I don't care so much for the game side - but to be able to turn it on and flip through netflix or whatever without the remote or controller sounds awesome.

well, since Natal has it's own day, hopefully the 6/14 briefing will be Natal-free for me to enjoy. not trying to troll against Natal, but in this post-Wii day and age i'm far more interested in control-based gaming where nothing but my thumbs, fingers and eyeballs are meant to move.

Microsoft's going to push Natal huge at the actual keynote, the difference is that it's going to be about announcing Natal software, whereas this thing seems to be about playing with it (which is far more important anyway, especially for something like Natal)

is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Is Natal the official name, or is that still the internal project name? I can't say that I really like it, but it's grown on me a bit, seeing everyone use it.

Still not sold on the idea of the thing though. Will have to try it out first.

I still think the revolution is a better name than wii, but everyone just stopped calling it that shortly after. Im sure the mass market is pretty unaware of the Natal name.

I dunno, I thought it was still the project name. While I'll agree with you that the name has grown I can't see it being the name in the stores. It will probably be something like "XBOX Infinity View Plus" or something the like.

Not possible - Microsoft has got very stringent rules about avatar use, and this would probably fall under the rule about having the avatar act threatening or bullying:

I don't think they'll have a ton, besides the obvious like EA Sports Active, maybe PGA Tour 11. People are probably still trying to wrap their heads around the thing.

That's basically what most people want to know I suppose. With Move, there isn't a whole lot of questions because it's sort of familiar territory with the Wii already. This is a whole other beast. I'm very curious to see just what the heck this thing is capable of.

Also, it was confirmed a while ago that Tiger 11 won't be out for Natal.

Personally, I would like to see games utilizing it in a manner that *isn't* motion control. Head tracking for pseudo-3D, games that can detect if I'm frustrated or bored and adjust the difficulty, that sort of thing. Everyone is talking about it as some new way to control games, but I think they're missing the real potential.
