It was the sound of the earth itself, groaning out as it cracked its tectonic knuckles, the power of which enough to speed the orbit of the earth itself by mere milliseconds. That whole Chili thing? Just a cover-up of what was to come.

If I remember clearly, cracking your bones makes you more prone to arthritis because this motion somehow overuse or makes your bones more fragile.
