You can read the announcement over at the official blog, which is sadly light on the details. Up until now, we've only had the trailer above to constantly loop, but eventually we'll get the equivalent of a trailer that we can actually control -- a prospect that is about as good as it gets.

Whoa! That is one trippy looking game.
Never heard of it before, but I will probably be purchasing it when it comes out.

I saw a video of this a few months ago. I'm still impressed by it. Glad to see it might break through the realm of obscurity via an XBLA release.

It gives off a PixelJunk shooter vibe to me. Which is not a bad vibe to have.

I think I found a new rube to unload my massive stockpile of counterfeit Insane Shadowy Planets Twisting ever so Strangely. Just as good as the real thing I tells ye, never no the difference! Yes . . . good . . . *strokes mustache*
Looking tip-top I say, quite lovely. Game looks fantastic is my meaning, I'll be buying no matter what the price I'm trying to get across.

Was it Dimmu Borgir? I kept thinking that's what it sounded like!

The gameplay does not look fun to me. Like at all. It gives me a lot of those stupid bird levels in DKC2.
But just like Stickerbrush Symphony compelled me to play to end of those, the absolutely gorgeous and fluid animation and art design will probably make me get this game.

I agree with you, I doubt I'd like the gameplay. I've never really enjoyed games where you fly around like that... including the great Defender. Guess it just isn't my thing.
The art style is certainly a different matter. Very striking and well done. That style tends to come off as cheap, but in this game you can clearly see how much detail was built into it, and it doesn't come off poorly at all. Mix that with a dose of instrumental metal, and it makes for a fine total package.
Unfortunately, unlike you, I probably won't buy it just for the looks though... hopefully they have a demo and lots of people post video play-throughs.

Hell Yeah! I've watched this trailer many times over the last few months since it came out. I assumed it was a PC indie game. Super glad to see it make its way to XBLA. Wow!

Holy crap this game looks freakin awesome! Nice soundtrack too!

This game really does look like PixelJunk Shooter on crack! Definitely getting this, and I don't really care if it has co-op like that aforementioned title that I have already played, beat, and practically forgotten about.

Ah, XBLA - a platform unto itself almost.

Nothing like using the completely evil black metal of Dimmu borgir to bring out the cartoony delight of an Xbox Live game. Anyone else confused as to why they chose a satanist metal group to promote a cartoony shooter??? Maybe I'll go play Mario Bros. 3 on mute while I listen to their In Sorte Diaboli (you know the one with the goat-headed devil on the cover?) Just weird.

Being a fan of Michel Gagne's I'm really excited to actually see this game (probably more for the aesthetic than game play). I love his work and laughed when I saw the title of the game. Anyone interested in this game should look him up online, and especially check out his Insanely Twisted Rabbits creations.

So excited, Michael Gagne is one of my favourite artists ever, and sooooo deserves his own game.
http://www.gagneint.com/ has a bunch more of his art if you love this style. He worked on a bunch of Don Bluth movies too, if it seems familiar.

Damn it! Good news for who? I've been drooling over the trailer for this game since I first saw it and praying every night before I went to sleep that it would wind up on the PS3, and it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Oh well, I'm still hoping.
