Oh yeah, before I saw this I wasn't so sure I would want to get it simply because I'm not a fan of Ubisoft lately and it looked kinda "meh". But now this is definitely something I'm looking forward to.

My computer froze for a minute, and after seeing the trailer, I realize why exactly the freezing occured: Splinter Cell Conviction just broke the many barriers of AWESOME.

They already did it with AC: II. Forget the fact they've released a crapload of shovelware in the past, they're coming out with magnificent games.

Did Gears kickoff the idea of using a mellow song as trailer music in place of the industry standard loud rock or were there others before it? I still remember the Mad World trailer convincing me 100% to buy GOW the first day it came out. Others have tried to do the same style since, and failed IMO, but this one nailed it.

Well played Ubi.

Really enjoyed the trailer. Also glad to see this will be the 3rd time in a year that I'll be fighting on the lawn of the white house in a video game.

This looks so good. I'll be picking this one up the day it comes out... and stacking it on top of all the other games I haven't even opened yet. Son of a- NO TIME!

um...why don't play your backlog and then when you're done, buy the game. It will most likely be cheaper and save you a ton of cash if you do this with many of the other new releases. If your buying it day one to support Ubisoft then i understand, but otherwise...why?

The part where he used them made me think of it, are the NVGs going to be in any mode besides the sonar? No more traditional bright green? I also hope we get to don the ol' suit again, that sweater cargo pants combo just isnt what i think of sam wearing

That beginning monologue was pretty ridiculous.
Good use of a Johnny Cash classic song though.

Ubisoft.. I may have some qualms with you as a company, but you really know how to pull off a good commercial when you want to [see: Prince of Persia].

It just feel to me that game developers have a vacuum nozzle attached to my wallet. As soon as money gets in it, it gets sucked out of it.

Ah well this is a worth sacrifice.

Graphic looks kinda crappy, cartoony and over-saturated.
Gonna pass on this anyway, since it has Ubisoft's new DRM cancer.
