Just enough to buy a Hot Coffee at Starbucks. (The prices of which are a thousand times more vulgar than anything in GTA to date)

I wish all those people rot in hell. Seriously. You mod the game to unlock hidden content, inaccesible during normal gameplay and then sue the company for it.

Also if you are an adult offended by sex in a video game and play GTA, there is seriously something wrong with your head.

80% of people who sue did something stupid themselves. It's like buying porn on your digital cable and suing for allowing it to be bought. God people are stupid.

While this was ridiculous, I do support the Comcast class-action suit though. For those who don't know, they throttled BitTorrent bandwidth without telling the customers, resulting in lower than advertised connection speeds. You too can get a whopping $16!

ohh that's nothing like what we in Canada have to deal with daily... all our internet companies are Strictly throttling everything, if you pay for 8Mb/s you get 4-5, if you pay 12 Mb/s your lucky if you get 7

and don't get me started on bandwidth caps, I believe 20Gb's is $40-$50

I think they should send all these plantiffs a bag of Folgers Coffee, decaff.. because these people are *clearly* far too uptight. Also.. seriously.. pissed off about sex in a game called Grand Theft Auto!?!?!? As I like to put it: It's the stupid people that make life far more "interesting" than it should be.

That's exactly what you do. You get your $5-35 and you buy a cup of coffee. You then pull the loose lid stunt to start a nice multiplier. After your "physical therapy", you turn that around into malpractice. Then depending on the outcome you find a way to flip that into discrimination, again pending the previous outcome. By the end of it all, you've robbed about 80% of society and eventually got to wear a nice suit.

Such BS. The only way to see this content was to actually go out of your way looking for it. It's not like you turned on the game one day, loaded your last save and there was this sex scene.

Welcome to lawsuit happy america. People will do everything short of hard work to earn money.

I just don't understand, what the hell is so wrong about sex?

I just stole a car, ran over a whole bunch of innocent pedestrians, shot a load of police... and then went home with my in-game girlfriend (not even a random hooker) and had pretty conventional sex whilst we were both fully clothed, no kinky business, not even any nudity

Imagine that happening in reality! So you're OK with me stealing that car and running over those people and then shooting all those cops, but the consensual sex is why your suing me... right

The world has gone mad

Onion did a pretty good satire of this kind of thinking

The guys who sued aren't the ones who modified the game and unlocked the content.

Parent buys their kid the game. Parent see news on TV about "hidden" sex scene. Parent starts lawsuit.

It isn't the ones who modified the content who are suing, it's the idiots who don't understand it wasn't in the open.

I agree with JQuB3.

The M rating was on the box. If you are a parent that buys M rated games for your kid then I think you loose the right to be offended by it's contents.

Plus, that there was specific actions taken by the people truly effected by this that activated the content in the first place.

I still don't understand how they lost this lawsuit.
