Interesting to have a version of the sequel on the go. I'll wait for the microsoft courier though but then again I already own it on my 360.

Also how come digital prices never go down!

As far as I can tell, it's a only use is if you need to walk while typing. . .

Which in itself I guess would be pretty interesting (kind of a Stargate Atlantis tablet computer feel going on here), if only it was actually a smaller laptop instead of just a giant iPod.

With something like this (and the iPhone/iPod, really anything without actual buttons), it's not gaming but simply entertainment.

One of the early reviewers said it best, I think, when he said the ipad is not for "techies." I have to agree with him.

Except if you are walking outside, then you can't see the screen.

To be fair, it's a reasonable price as far as tablet PCs go, they're generally somewhere in the $500 or $600 range.

But yeah, consoles are still a better investment.

My guess is that the screen is too small for them to have done an iPhone port?

And a netbook does more than the iPad for less money.

Except it's not as functional as a tablet PC.

A Stupid product that has no use whatsoever, and costs around $600, everything you can do on it you can do for less by buying other slates/tablets that cost around $200-$300 and can do more for less at a better/faster rate

My interest for an iPad just went from here...

::hand on ground::

...to here...

::hand 1/16 of an inch above ground::

Good job, Activision. A few, several thousand good games later, and I might consider thinking about maybe buying one.

My iPad comes in the mail Saturday. I'm looking forward to it. I love gadgets, and have extra money sometimes to spend on them. I wont be buying this game though, as I dont care about this game. Give me Plants vs Zombies...and COD Zombies, I'll be fine. And dont rag on me kiddies, I won PC's and Blackberry's in addition to my Mac's, iPhones, and soon to be iPad. Okay back to smoking ganja...peace kids

GeoWars is a twin-stick shooter. Does the iPad have twin-sticks. Or do you put your hand in the middle of the screen, hence blocking out the action. I don't get it. Somebody please explain.

Yea, seriously - how could this possibly work?
With a multitouch screen, you could 'kind of' have one finger for movement and the other for shooting direction. But I can't imagine that would be that fun to play.

What happens if you have to shoot in 360 degree loops? Which only happens what - constantly?

If it only had buttons in all that bezel...

Presumably there is a simulated joystick in each lower corner of the screen, so you hold the device and put your thumbs on the screen and manipulate the game that way.

How do you control the game? You need two joysticks on the Xbox.
