How are these Settlers games anyway. 2 game series i have never gotten into: Civilization and Settlers. Can someone give me a gameplay run-down of these 2?

I want to buy this game so bad. but i just don't want to have my big pc online while i play. i use my laptop for the internet.

Blizzard's DRM joke seems less and less a joke already.

Clearly this is the fault of the people who pirated Settlers 7. Isn't that right Ubisoft?

speechless, I really am speechless...
all that time, i thought that games are a form of artistic expression, as great in scale as, say, a film, but Ubisoft have really undermined that view of mine. Greedy little men, well, from now on, any Ubisoft game that will be released, i will only buy/download the pirated version. After all, if a studio is making decent games, they will be bought out by a more successful company with a (hopefully) sane PR manager...

Isn't DRM ironic, punishing the paying customers while the pirates can play the game scot-free (if not yet with this DRM, then soon). Same goes for movies I buy and I have to put up with the stupid FBI warning.

I don't understand why Ubisoft released a patch which removed the DRM from Far Cry 2 but then eventually do this complete 180 turn. Sigh.....

just for the record if you crack the game you can play it just fine, good work UBI nice to see your DRM working

I no longer buy Ubisoft games, and haven't for quite some time.

I no longer buy Activision games, and haven't for quite some time (for various reasons).

I've taken a policy of not buying (and indeed, not playing) games, from any company, with ridiculous DRM schemes. I know I'm not the only one. If we speak with our wallets maybe this nonsense will change.

honestly....do we REALLY need to play all this ubi soft garbage??? why we don´t just let them go to hell.....i mean come on!!!......now wait.....another error right?? that means next week free games for everybody from ubi soft!!!! yeah!!! i think this is starting to sound good.
