"Plus, both of them include a regular DVD and a digital copy, which is becoming standard for Disney's Blu-ray titles "

actually neither toy story comes with a digital copy. still a great buy. bought both on release day for less than 20 total thanks to disney coupons!

Snap, you're right. I'd thought that was becoming standard. Still, it's easy enough to turn that Standard DVD into a digital copy for yourself to use.

I thought the same thing, that the digital copy was becoming a standard for the Disney blu-rays. Oh well, still give them props for releasing their movies with both formats included!

After watching all of Halo: Legends, the The Package was the worst out of a bag of mediocreness IMO.

Prototype and The Babysitter were the only memorable things I have experienced out of it.

I like this feature. I like this feature a lot.

Except for the dig at Ghost in the Shell: Innocence.

Other than that, good work.

I always enjoyed the manga and the television series, but the movies... not so much. Mamoru Oshii's just a little too keen on himself and hound dogs in general.

Hepburn's book about the making of "African Queen" is a fascinating read. A very nice "extra" on a great film.

Anybody notice that ALL of the X-Files series is now on Netflix Instant Watch? Everything about it still holds up today, except for Duchovny's acting. I love the guy, but I think he was pretty amateur when they started shooting the show. He gets really good as time goes on, though.

yes i have noticed, as well as all of 24's, prison break, buffy the vampire slayer, and angel, and 3 for arrested development. (that could be them all not an avid watcher.)

I think that there were only 3 seasons of Arrested Development, which is sad. I guess airing the show at the same time as American Idol was not such a good idea. And thanks for the pointers for all the other great stuff that's up.

You think "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" is only decent? I say it's superior to the original movie. The series' dub is far better, and the plot is more understandable than the original movie's. Plus SAC gives more focus on other great characters like Togusa and Saito and Ishikawa and Pazu and especially Batou. I'd recommend the series over the movie any day.

It's about time we start seeing more classics on Blu-Ray. Now, where the hell is Lawrence of Arabia?

We also need more Hitchcock movies and Jimmy Stewart movies, particularly both

Most of Hitchcocks films need the NbNW treatment.

I like Robert Downey Jr., but I don't think he's as good an actor as Jeremy Brett, and I don't think he portrayed Sherlock Holmes as well. That's an opinion that wins friends.

Toy Story 1 & 2 are even better than I remember and they look absolutely amazing on blu-ray.

I'm sorry but Toy Story 2 was NOT better than TS 1...NO WAY. Don't get me wrong TS 2 was good, but the first one is a classic and no sequal will top it. TS3 looks good but it won't be better than 1 either.

I thought "Ghost in The Shell 2: Innocence" was as good as the first. It's a very different film, but not any worse for it. Haven't actually watched my copy of "2.0" on Blu-ray yet, but now I'm scared. Guess I'll keep my original DVD copy just in case...

Great news about "Stand Alone Complex," but I can't get into serialized anime. After buying 12 volumes of X on DVD a few years ago, I was broke and bitter. I only buy complete collections now and only at reasonable prices.

Got the Holmes bluray. I thought it was great. I loved how he analyzed a fight before he made it happen.

I wonder if Humphrey Bogart won because the character is so out of his "norm", or the rumors are true, that he hadn't won and they wanted to recognize him before he died?
