With the BBMT-fueled madness of PAX East 2010 still fresh in our minds (and bodies), it's already time to pre-register for PAX Prime in Seattle. The official PAX website is already counting down to the event, which will take place from Friday September 3 through Sunday, September 5. Single day badges are available at $35 each, while a three day pass runs $55. The PAX site notes that prices are slightly higher this year thanks to the Seattle public event tax. Also, remember that the prices above are for pre-registration only. All prices will go up by $5 come September 3.
We'd suggest grabbing your tickets now before the event inevitably sells out. After all, you don't want to miss magical moments like this, do you?

Got my 3 day pass. If you've never been before, do yourself a favor and get a 3 day pass. I made the mistake of going on Friday and Sat only...there is too much to see, too much fun to be had. Can't wait!

September 3rd?
I doubt pre-registration lasts that long.
It'll sell out months before that.

Just bought my 3 day pass. I'm not taking any chances.
Also, for the umpteenth time, what are Joystiq's plans in regards to PAX West (or, PAX Prime as they call it)? Will we get a breakfast or a podcast?

Boom. Two three-day passes, one for me, the other for my dad. Now I should decide if I am going to go via the train, from L.A. I hear it is quite the experience, going with a couple dozen of other PAX-goers, their TVs, and DnD...

At first I thought that by "PAX West" that they were going to create a third PAX event, which immediately seemed odd to me since Prime is ALREADY on the West coast...
Still, I wouldn't mind a PAX West in San Francisco or something... it would probably kill Mike and Jerry though to 'host' three events in a year...

Now they need a Pax Central to round everythign out, that should ensure that everyone has a chance to attend one. I recommend Austin, TX. We have good food, good music, and good weather. They just need to schedule it out of the way of South by Southwest as we can't handle 2 large events at once.
