Um... No.

SONIC TEAM was responsible for Sonic 06.

..Unless you were attempting a late April Fools joke. -_-

That's way too simplistic a judgment

This studio may well have had the talent to make decent games but I'm sure they were stifled with a lack of time and money, and lets not forget that the Sega marketing department is an absolute mess

You know why Iron Man sucked (for most people)? Because it wasn't supposed to be any good, Sega knew full well that it would sell based purely on the license so why bother support the studio with adequate time and money

I'm conjecturing here, but imagine you get told to make a game which the publisher doesn't really care about, you get no resources... and then you get fired... at Easter.... sweet

You know, I liked the 1st Iron Man game. I still only rented it, but I enjoyed it overall. Looking forward to this one.

Sad news about those employees if true though.

We are definately in the minority. I enjoyed it immensely, but the hardest difficulty was nearly impossible at many points in the game.

Seriously, Marvel needs to start paying top dollar for the best developers. If the game is good, it will pay for itself.

On the 31st, they shut down the Phantasy Star Universe PC/PS2 servers, perhaps this might be why they are doing it. I know the X-box ones are supposed to be both japanese/american, but i wonder how they are going to handle that.

nevermind, microsoft takes care of the x-box version of that game, thus probably why they shut down the servers.

What is going on with Iron Man's right leg in that screenshot? Did they run out of red and gold paint there at the end?

Sadly, it sounds like this is no big loss to the gaming world from a critical perspective. I wish all the developers and artists the best as they look for places to make games that don't suck.

And the managers can suck an egg.

It may not be entirely their fault they got the games assigned to them, but its still up to the developer to make a decent game. I don't think this studio would have contributed much to the gaming market in the future anyways. Hopefully the employees there get better placement somewhere else

Good Riddance. SOA does not deserve to be called Sega.

Not everyone at the studio is responsible for making decisions, and add to that the publisher may not have given them enough time and resources to develop a good game. They likely have a very talented staff, just not enough support to make the game as awesome as they could. Wish everyone there the best in finding a new place to work.

What I remember reading about this studio was that it suffered from some serious problems in project management. Technical and artistic talent aren't enough alone to make a good game.
