It's slowed down for many reasons. A few I would say is all the amazing releases that have come out and are coming out, we don't get the chance to play it. I never have time to sit down and play it myself. The only times are maybe once a week when getting drunk with my wife and buddy.

I'm guessing that RB3 will provide a shot in the arm. That being said, I personally play RB whenever I can. A large group of people generally helps.

I don't know about Anberlin, but all the other bands are Christian bands. I guess it's the Easter Rock Band Pack?

I'm glad Anberlin finally gets some GH/RB love, and Feel Good Drag is a great song to show them off.

Nope, Anberlin is a fantastic band. The others I don't really listen to. But Christian rock isn't what it used to be. Go listen to Underoath!

I doubt the songs they selected are overtly christian themed and if they wanted to be in-your-face about it they could have gone with Stryper. But as talented as those guys are it wouldn't bother me at all considering they were the only christian metal band that other metal fans could actually tolerate.

Uh, hey Joystiq. These are all Christian bands. Might be why you don't recognize many of them. But they're some of the bigger Christian rock bands out there.

Ditto. Apparently, they're all Christian rock bands, which probably explains it for me. I hate being preached to.

Every band you like is a band that at one time you'd never heard of. Judge them on their music. Go to Youtube and check out some Switchfoot. They're a really, really good band. And they're not 'preachy'.

I agree with nd15c, Judge a band by their music. And some "christian bands" just may surprise you with their style and music. Underoath for example is not a typical christian band. And although the members of Anberlin are christian and they have a few christian refrences in some of their songs, they are not a christian band.

I will be getting "feel good drag" for sure and probably "meant to live" and "fire it up".

If they arent preachy then they arent a christian band. Christian rock is a genre and it has to be preachy to be considered christian rock. The christian music industry keeps trying to find new ways to get people to listen to them, their latest strategy is to use regular music that doesnt preach so they can get people to christian music festivals where they can preach in other ways. These bands are probably just christian music festival bands that dont play christian music.

Highly recommend Switchfoot, awesome band! But I wouldn't say they're a Christian band, at least, not their newest stuff. Their songs often have a deep message which may be linked to one 'facet' of Christianity but they never openly try and preach to you; words like "God" or "Jesus" aren't used. Like nd15c said, judge them by their music, their recent singles Mess of Me and The Sound have nothing at all to do with religion.

I personally never got into Hendrix (I'm not a guitarist so technical noodling/soloing never really interested me,) but I get why people like him. These bands, though? Not so much.

There's an acoustic version of the Anberlin song that was recorded for a local radio station that's a lot better than the original. It's not a bad song though, I might pick it up. Don't recognize any of the others by name though.

Like I said on Destructoid, I hope they release "Open Wounds" or "Savior" by Skillet. Some songs by Red or more by Flyleaf would be nice too...

Yep, these are all Christian crossover-type bands. None of them are Jesus-y, though. I've actually seen all of them except Switchfoot at some point or another in my misspent youth!

Sad that the Anberlin and TFK songs are new. Not to sound douchy, but their old stuff is way better!

Not douchy at all, new TFK sucks
They should've picked something from Art of Breaking or Phenomenon, not that I buy Rock Band songs, but I wonder why these companies tend to pick the less liked songs.

I know RB gets emails and stuff, but who requests the bad(or not as good) songs THAT much?

Not to be a total dick, but Meant to Live wasn't on Spiderman 2 (though wikipedia says it was on the song page but not the album page)! Either way, still was a great song. That and Feel Good Drag I'll have to pick up.

Also, are we not allowed to cuss on here any more? Every time I do, I get one of those "You Did It!" banners and then my comment never shows up. We're all adults here (I think,) what's with the censorship?
