I'm sure one of the reasons that they have cracked down on swearing is that it's impossible to tell what age everyone else, not to mention the ages of those that visit the site but don't comment. I'm 20 and don't a goo ole' cuss, but I get why they're doing it.

There is actually a Supergrass song in LEGO RB. I can't remember the name, but it's a pretty good one.

Like how Rock Band tied in the track releases with Easter. While I haven't heard much from these bands (though I'm slowly getting into them) I think it is pretty sweet to see some Christian music in Rock Band.

To all those budding militant atheists out there ready to flame this thread, grow up, and give them a listen, you'll not automatically be converted, and they aren't as bad as you probably think they are.

They actually have been pretty tame and nonexistant so far aside from "gee this is shitty music" or "who are these people?". They really can't say much anyway. If you don't know they are Christian bands, you probably wouldn't know it listening to most of these songs. Maybe that's why they have such mainstream appeal.

What? Switchfoot isn't on the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack. I don't even think it was in the movie. Their "Sooner or Later" was on the Elektra soundtrack.

...

I don't know why I know that either.

@Dustin Seriously. Anyone who doesn't think Puppet by TFK shouldn't be included in Rock Band really needs to rethink their love of music. ;)

Good choice of words for the Christian music coming for Easter.

I like the band selection but the songs could have been better. I was thinking "The Show" for Hawk Nelson, "Stand up" for Superchick, and "Comatose" for Skillet, but these are a good start, I guess. I'll probably get them in hopes they put more on here later.

Im SO happy that Anberlin is on RB now. They are one of my favorite bands ever and really deserve more attention. Also, anyone who doesen't listen to bands because they fall under the "Christian Rock" genre label is really missing out. These are all amazing bands. ESPECIALLY Anberlin.

Switchfoot does not like to be labled as a christian band. Although they are all very christian their music is not praise and worship. They want their music to reach out to the larger community and like anberlin they do refer to christ in some songs but they want their music to be enjoyable to anyone and everyone.

@Eh Christian bands can be christian and not preachy! You obviously arent christian so you dont know. Well just cause they arent shoving it in your face doesnt mean they dont strongly believe in God, not all of us are pushy. But thanks for the stereotype!
