Yeah, I have a PSP but the controls suck. I've been practicing with the demo and it's good enough for slow paced stealth but when things heat up the controls go to crap for me. At least put in a Dualshock option like Resistance Retribution had. I would buy the PSP component cable for this game.

at the pace of ps1 titles are going I doubt ps2 titles will be seen any time soon. Plus I wish their was some type of trade-in system if we already own the hard copy of the game we mail sony the hard copy and in return a code to download the same game on psn. maybe a small fee ($1-$2) per game. im sure the developers would want some type of share from the profit from the $1-2 per game.

plus the titles they get back they can just send them to the shredder and recycle. Sony would be considered the "green" console to consider.

@Johnny
Honestly, I'd rather shell out $10 bucks, or less for most PSOne games.
I keep my hard-copy and get a digital copy, less time/effort/less loss of money really.

Maybe Sony will finally patch in PS2 emulation and this will be downloadable from PSN. Yeah it's a stretch but we can dream.

330 thousand PS2's in December and the recent shortages that lasted into March makes that at least a year away.

Horrible what? Huh?

I have my Wii continually hooked up via component cable for progressive picture, but my Virtual Console games look fine. Shouldn't the Ps3 simply display Ps2 games as interlaced?

How "certain" are you Chris? Certain enough to provide a source, or are you just speculating like most idiots on the internet?

Prosecutor: Your Honor, this man killed 20 people!

Defendant: Do you have any proof that I did?

Prosecutor: No! But you don't have any proof that you didn't!

Judge: Case closed. He obviously killed 20 people!

This makes sense considering that they ported Dark Mirror before. I have a feeling that it is because the PSP version underperformed. I don't see it on the greatest hits list. It really is a shame, though, because Syphon Filter is a great game and the PSP needs more exclusives.

Hope they give it online play, not sure if the PSP version did, but I'd like to make use of my PS2 online abilities since RE:O died.

The Portable version had a pretty robust multiplayer, which even included a limited level designer. If you've played Syphon Filter: Combat Ops, that's basically a variation on the multiplayer in Logan's Shadow.

Uh yeah question. Exactly when are we going to see Syphon Filter on the PlayStation 3? I would actually like to see it in the form of Splinter Cell Conviction. If Microsoft can have Splinter Cell Conviction, PlayStation 3 fans can have an identical version of Syphon Filter. Want a script for it, fortunate for you Sony, I'm a writer and just so happen to be a very big PlayStation fan as well as a Syphon Filter fan (loved the the PSOne Syphon Filter. You just let me know.

Syphon Filter PS3? Why do Splinter Cell and MGS4 pop into mind :O Its not even a stealth game :/

Hopefully Naughty Dog work on it, if its anything like Uncharted, crossed with MGS4, crossed with Socom, it will be superb :)

They should of made it a psp mini version. That way they could sell a version that works on both the psp and ps3.

That is an example of why SOny should bring back BC to those who dont have it or a PS2.

I dont think today's PS2 audience will want somthing like Motorstorm artic edge or Syphon Filter. Sony lost potential customers.
