We may only know about two of the four Spidey settings to be featured in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension, but that hasn't stopped GameStop from announcing that pre-orders of the game (on any console) will get access to a Cosmic Spider-Man costume (which can be equipped in each of the game's four "universes"). Like in the comics, the extra-superpowered state of Cosmic Spider-Man will enable a "signature charge attack" that's exclusive to his costume, regardless of which world you're Spider-Manning around in.
Since GameStop didn't release an image of the Spidey iteration from its (presumably exclusive) pre-order bonus, we've dropped a picture of the totally rad Cosmic Spider-Man action figure above -- it's gotta look something like that in-game, right? And no, it's not a "doll." It's an action figure.
[Thanks Joshua!]

This is how you really do it.
It seems your childhood

Was enrichened by Marvel comics, whom produced a lot of decent storylines that certainly defined that era and made some people rich to boot. And perhaps doomed some to a life of geekdom, which depending on the subject, is either good or bad. There's been some cases where a dejected nerd may have made a list, and may have killed some ex school'mates', but I'm sure it's all good.

Thanks but no thanks. Come back to me when you make a good Spiderman game. It had potential with the Noir style(looks like Batman:AA, look how well that did), but Amazing just looks like Friend or Foe, and with more 'dimensions' to be announced, I'm not sure how I feel about constantly switching between looks.

Amazing doesnt look anything like friend or foe. FoF was very intentionally blocky, and obviously played extremely different than this. It looks more like ultimate, but from what we can see so far it looks like it will play different from that too

Is he strong?
Listen bud,
He's got intergalactic blood.
Can he end civilization from a thought?
Take a look overhead
Hey, there
There goes the Cosmic Spider-Man.

Huge fan of the Cosmic Spidey outfit. Now we just need a good game to go with it.

Sadly, I just can't commit to a pre-order after the quality of the last couple of games. Actually, if Shattered Dimensions was $40 I could pre-order it, but not otherwise.
I'm also assuming that the new game is no longer sandbox style. All I really want is Spider-Man 2's controls/mechanics with modern graphics and better city interactions. NOT Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 3's simplified controls and boring gameplay. Web of Shadows was acceptable, but *not great*.
