I really hope they cut this level out. One less act is much better than going through something as frustratingly bad as that.

Agreed. The rest of the game looks awesome except for this. Just watching it makes me nauseous. Very doubtful they would cut it out though as it seems the game is basically done.

I wish I could play Tomba again.

The guy playing does sucks ass but I don't think that's the reason why the stage looks so FAIL. Yeah, I think the stage is that bad even if a better guy was playing =/

Watching this is frustrating because who ever is playing it is either completely terrible at hand eye coordination, or their minds aren't comprehending what is going on in the game.

They've actually leaked the whole game now, which made some dumb furry named Tweaker flip out on his Sonic themed forum and make talking about Sonic 4 a bannable offense.

At this point, the meltdowns and insane reactions from rabid fans is far more entertaining than the games could ever be.

Also this level looks terrible (but its a Sonic game so thats a given.)

very true

If you search on youtube every ten hours youll see new updated footage of Mad Gear, Casino Street, Lost Labrinth, Splash Hil, Special Stage, Super Sonic, all the bosses but you have to be quick as sega europes on a rampage with copyright

Infact ive even downloaded Sonic 4 Soundtrack most tracks sound the same or similar to Sonic 3D the songs are not as good as sonic 1, 2, 3, knuckles and sonic cd

It's not right that we have more shakey-cam footage than ACTUAL GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE

It's also worth pointing out that right now we have footage of EVERYTHING in the game before we actually have a release date for it.

I'd ask the question "Why is Sonic in a mine cart?" But this looks pretty cool and fun.

Fun fact: There were three mine cart levels in Donkey Kong 64.

And that vid just didn't look great. Of course, I think the guy playing it sucks as usual.

The difference is that Donkey Kong 64's mine cart levels looked (and were) fun to play. Regardless of how good the player in the video is; its obvious that this level suffers from poor design, awful controls, and irritating physics.

The mine cart levels in Donkey Kong Country (SNES) were fairly fun. All about timing them jumps. I remember I'd think I was about to make it then my cart just falls like 3 pixels short of a ledge/track. Then I hear a balloon POP sound. "F*CK!"

Okay, I understand using LT & RT on an Xbox controller, but shouldn't this level use the SixAxis motion on PS3 and the Wiimote's motion on Wii?

With all that money they have, you'd think Nintendo would be able to come up with the right number of zeros to bribe Microsoft to let Rare develop a new Donkey Kong game.

IIRC in the 16bit games you only rode a bandwagon for a small part of the act with minimal control, you didnt have to spend an entire damn level moving the screen to get somewhere.
