Sad News is that Sony Imagesoft Lives and is not defunct, it was renamed 989 Studious after several name changes. Now they go by 989 Sports or their games are just published under the SCEA name. Sewer Shark was total crap but sold well because of the lack of Sega CD titles at launch.
On another note, I do agree with DR. Blight, ME2 is a great game, I have not Idea whats frakin wrong with Drake. Drake needs to go back to his Sega CD and play C&C Music Factory.

You and I both, bro. I have everything set up for no more play throughs, and continuations into ME3. Going to be so exciting!

man, i was going to do all that, and im mostly prepared in terms of romances, but I just didnt want to burn my enjoyment out of the game by playing it over and over, at least not for a few years until ME3 is almost out

So im not the only one!
I still got Noveria and Virmire to do, as well as the rest of the achievements.
All this whilst ME2 looks at me, ive avoided spoilers so far.

Me too. Although I'm pretty sure you had to import a level 60 from the first game to get to 30 in the first playthrough of ME2.

Is it actually a "level cap" or is it just running out of levels to get? Theres no real exp in Mass Effect.

Gonna pass on this one. I beat the game on insanity first time through, got every thing, did everything that I know of, and I can't be bothered to play it all again on renegade anytime soon for Morinth. I haven't even downloaded the firewalker. And from what I hear this character is about as interactive as Zaeed.
Just get cracking on ME3 already Bioware!

You missed the fact that it's impossible to experience the entire game in one playthrough, which is exactly what makes the game unique. It is impossible to have experienced the effects of every Paragon, Renegade or Neutral decision. It's impossible to see the effects of not doing your squadmates loyalty missions. It's impossible to experience all the romances and character interactions that will also change based on your choices in Mass Effect 1. You're only considering the metagame, and that's not the only strength Mass Effect 2 has.

I got the majority of the game experienced tho. I just am more of a fan of significant content like expansions similar to Dragon Age's Awakening pack, or full sequels. $7 for a character quest like Zaeed's isn't very inciting to me. I'd like to start hearing more about ME3 since they are supposedly hurrying it.

I'm not really sure what part of my post you're replying to. So I'll just say, yes. Yes I do think.

wai-wai-wait.... I haven't popped my copy of ME2 in yet, so someone please fill me in, here... they want us to pay $7 for a character that should have been in the game int he first place, but was stripped out to try to squeeze a few extra dollars out of people...? is that right? there's even an existing space in the character menu, just waiting for me to plop down my $7...?
if that's the case, that's pretty 'effing weak...

he's right they were working on it, but ran out of time... they were only able to get the voice work down for it... they have been working nonstop on this for 3 months, because when it went gold they were working on Zheed

if that were the case and they were JUST trying to squeeze a few dollars out of you, wouldnt it have been day one? Well, it wasn't, and there never was anything to be "stripped" off the disc anyway

There isn't an existing spot that I know of. At least all of mine were filled by end of game?

I believe they will do what they did with zheed add an extra slot, or add her underneath the slots in a second row

When will people realize that things are ALWAYS cut from games. Always have, and always will be. In the old days, (say N64, PS1, even PS2, GC & Xbox) when things were cut, they were cut. That was it, and we never heard about it and no one complained about it.
Now, the same things happen. Things are cut because they can't be finished in time for the game's release. The only difference is now there is a legitimate method of the developers releasing that cut content in the form of DLC.
Say there wasn't such a thing as DLC, these cut characters (Zaeed, Kasumi) would have NEVER made it into the game, and the average consumer would have never seen them. So because the developers are continuing to work on their game after it is completed and shipped to bring that cut content to the consumers (which is extra work they need to be paid for, hence why DLC usually costs $) it's considered 'pretty 'effing weak...' ???
In short... shut the f*ck up.

is this free for people who bought the game new and have registered cerberus network stuff? i finally started playing this last week and i got a whole bunch of free stuff (which was cool) to download as soon as i logged in- but none of it is worth more than a combined total of $5, in my opinion. so if this isn't free, i don't see any reason for me to buy it.
