So when is Trials 2 HD coming out for XBLA? It's already out for PC

Think of Trials HD as Trials 3, or Trials 2.5, or Trials DX or whatnot. Trials 2 predates HD.

I thought that's what Trials HD is. It did come out a year after Trials 2, after all.

I would have picked BF1943 or Shadow Complex.

No Monkey Island love? I'm somewhat disappointed.

Don't know why 1943 was in the running for cooperative multiplayer, had it not been for the horrendous lag I'm sure people would have voted for 'Splosion Man in that category. Still the best overall Co-Op game of last year IMO. Even in a year of NSMBWii, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, and Trine.

Trials is a lot like Monkey Ball where the precision and timing can be so infuriating I wanna punch baby kittens just thinking about it >_

If by most overrated, you mean 'by far the best downloadable title on 360, perhaps even best downloadable game across all three platforms' then I'm right there with you, just as I am in our adoring of The Maw.

So that's what that cryptic line of text reads.

I mean, I could read that second jargon about the voting process, but I was left in the dark about the rest.

I still haven't played Trials HD, it looks nostalgic but I already played the hell out of Excite Bike in the arcades way back.

It's a toss up between Splosion Man and Shadow Complex for best game IMO.

It's a toss up in IMO as Trials, Shadow Complex and Splosion Man were great in different ways. All were a great deal for the price, and tons of fun. Shows a $10-15 game can hold it's own against the AAA titles.

BTW, for this year I think Scrap Metal is the current top runner.
Can't wait to see what the summer brings.

You ignorance shows that either you were completely baked when you played the game or you never played it at all.

Other than the fact you're on a motorcycle how are the two even remotely similar?

Battlefield 1943 isn't co-op multiplayer. Splosion Man was the only true choice and it was screwed out of an award.

YAY! I haven't really played Trials HD yet, but I'm super into Trials 2SE, and it's great to see RedLynx get the respect they deserve.

Trials HD is easily the XLBA game I spent the most time playing. It's infuriating, but not to the point of wanting to smash controllers. I'd love to see it get updated with like, a Best of User-created Tracks pack or something. Only thing that crippled the game was the way you'd share tracks. That should get fixed.

RedLynx, I hope you're listening.

Picking my favorite game based on playing time, Splosion Man wins by a landslide! Granted, I haven't bought Trials HD yet and loved the demo, so it just may be the best. Both have great replay value, trying to get better runs and times.

I'd have gone with Shadow Complex for sure. I tried the demo for Trials, and it was cool but not really my thing.

Anyone else feel kind of dirty for voting for Battlefield 1943, after EA and DICE have completely ditched supporting it. No DLC as promised. Reduced servers making most games unplayable (if you're lucky enough to log on).

I voted for it, because when the game works, it's fantastic. The awards it won, it definitely earned. But for a game that's only a year old to be nearly unplayable.

I just really hope people seeing these "award winners" realize that and do NOT purchase it... just not worth it at this point.

On a side note, I hope there's a price drop/sale for Trials HD... winning an award like this makes it sound like it's good, but considering the price of admission, I haven't even bothered trying it. I refuse to spend more than 800 points on an XBLA game.
