Dead to Rights: Retribution trailer is full of canine plagiarism

We were almost certain that the above Dead to Rights: Retribution trailer Namco Bandai recently sent us was a joke. Not because of its constant depictions of brutal dog-on-man violence (which, admittedly, is kind of hilarious), but because the content of the trailer is obviously ripped off from a recent film you're probably familiar with.

I love dogs as much as the next guy, and Huskies even more....yet I'm finding it hard to take this game seriously, if the only real original aspect is the dog, why even have a human partner :D

Dude, the first Dead to Rights was an amazing game, the second one not so much, but I think Namco realized that shortly after they shipped it; so hopefully this is more like #1 was.
As for the dog... trust me, once you play a Dead to Rights game you'll understand why it's such a cool gameplay mechanic to include. It'll also become immediately apparent to you why you're not just playing a dog.

I like the part where the dog smiles at the camera.

This game looks so last-gen. And sub-par last-gen at that.

The trailer for Dead to Rights is underwhelming. At least they're showing gameplay and not just cutscenes, but at the same time, the gameplay just doesn't look all that fun.

I think the game should be entirely from the perspective of the dog, I hope that's an option in the actual game, or at least a majority of it

Oh come on. Ok if no one has found the reference yet, here it is, The dog is EXACTLY like the wolves on Twilight, my wife made me sit through it last week. I mean even the size is similar.
BTW is kind of embarrassing they actually have the phrase *not so tough without your mutt uh?" in the game. I have a bad feeling about that.

This game looks so bad, it might actually be entertaining, just not in the way it was intended.

I hope Shadow's not immortal. Like, I hope you have to actually have his back in a fight, and have to order him around strategically so he doesn't die. I think it'd be kind of lame if he was just like Mordecai's Bloodwing, but I think it'd be really cool if there were scenarios where you'd rush out into gunfire to save your dog.
Just to kinda add some character depth to every moment of gameplay. Sure, just like an escort mission, it's game over if he dies, but I think it'd be a lot cooler if he was an actual team mate rather than a weapon. Because as it stands, he just seems *way* OP. Adding some fragility to that would be kind of a cool dynamic.
