Blizzard recently announced a cadre of class-specific additions coming to its upcoming ruinous expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. If you're currently rolling through Azeroth, owning fools while playing as a Death Knight, Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock or Warrior, you can get an early glimpse at some of the new powers and revamped mechanics the expansion will bring your way.
If you're having a hard time understanding what all these changes really mean, we suggest checking out our loot-obsessed sister site, WoW.com, for a detailed analysis of these changes. For instance, we just learned that the Rogue's new "Smoke Bomb" ability will change them from merchants of death into invisible merchants of death. How fun!

No offence intended but you guys get excited easily, jetpacks and smoke bombs?
Although I am looking forward to both Reach and Cataclysm. Both first day buy, no questions asked.

There's a bit of humor wrapped into that. I don't think Griffin is jumping up and down on his chair screaming "smoke bombs! SMOKE BOMBS!". Then again, that might be kinda funny.

When I quit, ret pallys were the worst DPSers. The only good a pally was, was as a tank, and only because they were good aoe tanks, not because they were good tanks in general.

Wow, it really has been a while since you played then yeah? Paladins are gods on the game, like they're even above DKs at being insane at everything. There was even a point in WOTLK were so OP that Blizzard came out and said 'no nerfs til cataclysm'.
If you want to Paladin, do it while the getting's good. There's like a million of them.

It is, when you think about it because Activison had no control over Blizzard, they're both just owned by the same company, which put them under a holding company name of Activison-Blizzard, so they share some things, like financial statements, but thankfully, they don't share other things, such as management.
At lest that's how its been described to be.

Justacrank, then you obviously didn't get the memo about the restructuring that occurred within Activision-Blizzard. The big parts did appear to be re-arrangements done to their core divisions, but Blizz is one of them. They also brute-forced someone who answers directly to Kottick into one of the higher-up positions within Blizzard.

you seriously didn't think they didn't always have that, did you? I'm sure they've always had a man to keep relations between them and Kotick. It shouldn't matter either way, it's not exactly like Blizzard's known for giving away free stuff.
Diablo 2 was 60 when it first came out.

I haven't played for a long time, seriously like a little bit after they introduced the crusaders coliseum I quit the game and never came back. These changes though are drastic, and good enough that make me feel excited to play the game. The rogue changes are shocking to me. We used to always get the short end of the stick but in WOTLK they went from good, to BETTER and as far as rogues are concerned, that never happens. It's like pigs are flying and hell froze over.

Rogues were always invisible merchants of death.
Now they are just more invisible.
