You guys have got your special glasses, right? Come on, we know we told you this week's Wrapup would be presented with groundbreaking new 3D technology. You knew you were supposed to come prepared. Don't get mad at us because you can't see all the awesome special effects that are flying out of the logo above! Oh no, a dragon is flying at you! And he's throwing ninja stars!

Bleh. Im easy to amuse, i laugh at lease a little at most of these comics each week, but this week was aweful. The only one that made me laugh was XKCD. Awkward Zombie nearly had my vote, as it was very clever, but i got more giggles from XKCD.

Oh and Joystiq, i came prepared with the 3D glasses, and i see no ninja-star throwing dragonfly. YOU LIED!

It must have been behind the dragon that was flying at you throwing ninja stars

xkcd is a shoe in, so I was going to go with my second fave, but I went back one week on Awkward Zombie (didn't see it last week), and just had to vote for it.

xkcd all the way. That comic's so good I would've voted for it even if it wasn't a gaming joke.

I generally don't go for the 1-panel comics, but xkcd's was sublime.

Maybe it's one of those where you have to play the game to get it? I really hope that's it.

No, you don't have to have played the game to get the joke, you just have to have an iota of intelligence.

But that doesn't help me. As far as I can tell, there's no joke.
Panel 1: awkward dialogue.
Panel 2: The guy says that the gameplay in the game is hard.
Panel 3: We are shown that the gameplay in the game is hard.

I just don't see it. I mean, I guess they're trying to say it's hard to abstain from sex? But... we see that the gameplay actually IS hard, so it doesn't make it look like he's lying when he says "from a pure gameplay perspective." Unless the joke is the word "hardest" being used to describe Kratos' penis? Is that it? But again, he says he's talking about "a pure gameplay perspective," so I guess that's not it.

The joke simply wasn't funny....at all.

Criticism comes with the territory. I didn't like it, but some might. That's the way it goes.

Ray, we are very smart and intelligent people. We use proper spelling and grammar, and discuss things like adults. Judging be your comic you seem to be the one with the humor style you're accusing us of having. Your comic just sucks, it might be funny to 11 or 12 year olds, but to us (or most of us) it sucks.

I'd like to see you make a webcomic that's half as good as this week's 2P START! It was a funny joke, and was delivered well and appropriately. Unlike every other video game webcomic that feels it has to drop the f-bomb every other sentence in order to be funny. This is an excellent example of a "classy" sex joke.

Although xkcd was also clever, 2P got my vote.

But it wasn't classy or funny. It was overdone, poorly executed, and felt pointless.

Burnflare, not a single comic linked this week had any cussing in it...seems to poke a few holes in your already faulty logic.

Not quite - I truly have no issue with whether or not someone finds the comic funny. I was only responding to Acosta02's inability to understand the comic.

Yeah, I'm still not sure if I've found the joke and it isn't funny, or if I haven't found the joke yet. I assume it's just not funny to me, but I guess I'll never know since nobody's explained the joke. :'(

I see two parts to the joke:

1) it's a reference to the GOW3 scene where you apparently perform button presses for an, uh, intimate encounter...

2) the punchline is that he's choosing to NOT do the scene, which, in the comic world, appears to be much more difficult than actually performing it.

Had to go with AVGW. I could see Reggie doing that with his big stupid grin.

I know a lot of you are thinking this looks familiar, and you'd be right. The problem before was that we, ourselves, at Nintendo, the company you're speaking to right now, weren't fully committed to it in the past and our developers weren't ready for something so advanced.

This time around we've got a great lineup of games that we think both the casual and core audience will enjoy like Mario Tennis, a great fun game for the whole family, Wario Land, and one of my favorite games on the system, Mario Clash.

That's just from our internal first party studios. We've also heard tons of feedback from 3rd parties like Atlus and Bandai and many other big name companies who plan to make games for it.

So as you can see we're really excited for it and we think it's going to change the way people play games. I mean you know us. You know that Nintendo loves to shake things up and try to be creative and fun with our systems and tech. This is just the next step in that. This is just us taking things one step further and giving people even more fun ways to play the games that they already love.

Ugh, if only they'd have switched the order of the last two panels, it's awful how it is.

Kind of a toss up for me between xkcd and Brawl, but in the edge I have to give the edge to xkcd.

On an odd site note, the write-up accompanying Nerf Now is a bit odd; "DoA Paradise is creepy, not because of the fanservice, but because of how freaky it is. The gelatinous, living boobs of the girls, with life and will of it's own is a huge letdown to anyone who have a basic grasp of how mammaries behave. Unless you have jello fetish you will not be turned on by it, kinda the opposite, really."

Yeah, actually xkcd was really great. It was the one that maded myself laugh more than the others, really clever and simple. BUT, i loved Sniff Salesman, so, there ya go. Even tough, a wortless vote, i liked it a lot :3

Okay, so what does your link have to do with anything? The comic I linked to is actually from several weeks ago, I was just linking to the first one he had released (and one I particularly liked). The Pixels film just came out last week as far as I know, that's when all the stories started popping up about it. So what's your point?
