Japanese hardware sales, March 29 - April 4: Against the Grain edition

Today's edition of the Japanese hardware sales post is dedicated to those heroes who defy social norms in order to stand up against their shadowy oppressors. For instance, the two Norwegian gentlemen who fended off the all-seeing eye of Google Maps. Armed with fishing spears and nautical regalia, the two chased the cartographic vehicle from their neighborhood, as if to say "no more, Google Maps. This far -- no farther." Though we may never know these heroes' names, we can acknowledge their sacrifice all the same.

Following in the flippersteps of these triumphant rebels is the PlayStation 2, which brought the homogeneous up-and-down arrow cycles we've seen during the past two weeks to a grinding halt. In a week where all other gaming platforms followed rank and deferred to the command of unseen market forces, the PS2 took the road less traveled, and is 18 units better for it. Keep blazing that trail, little friend.

You know that cockroaches actually are less resistant to radiation than we are...

It's actually a myth that cockroaches can survive nuclear holocausts. If anything, it's just that there's so many of them or that they are able to hide in tiny places where radiation may not reach them that makes them able to survive a holocaust. But realistically, they have a weakness against radiation.

So yeah. Not really relevant to anything.

Sorry to not comment on the article...but.... did any1 else realize they took down the article about what that one creator of Crysis said about MW2? He pretty much trashed the game too...I wonder what made them take it down?

maybe because all of this IW/MW2 hate is uncalled for on the part of the gaming media, publishers, devs and gamers alike.

I honestly don't see a REAL reason for it other than bitter and jealous people trying to diminish what IW accomplished.

They accomplished something that made Michael Bay look like an Oscar-caliber director.

I could never find Kirby Air Raid.

I played some times at my friends, but not annoyingly, only when i was invited or there was this tottaly awesome game beeing released like, Final Fantasy 10.

I only got to finish PS2 games from 2007 up (i've finished Shadow of the Collossus last year, Kingdom Hearts, etc..)

Oh, and my PC wasn't capable of running major games, other than Warcraft 3, CS, or WoW.

But now, rejoice! I have a PS3, an Xbox 360 AND a i7 pc with 12gb ram! So i can pretty much play anything. Worth it

Dreamcast? Are you kidding? my last console was my n64 (that's stuck with my ex girl, cuse i don't wanna talk to her anymore) and i still have my 1st gen genesis here still working (with moonwalker and everything)
