Just Dance just can't help being tops on UK sales charts

At this point, just give into the madness: Ubisoft's Just Dance is an unstoppable beast on the UK all-formats sales chart. According to Chart-Track, the title has been the top-selling Wii game every week in 2010 (except New Year's week) and boogies down as the third-largest third-party Wii game ever in the UK -- Sega's Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Take-Two's Carnival Funfair Games are the top two, respectively.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 regained some ground, crawling back to the second spot, as Just Cause 2 parachuted down another spot to third. Modern Warfare 2 held its ground at fourth as Wii Sports Resort moved up one notch to fifth. The rest of the top ten has some Pokémons sprinkled in there. Whoever came up with this game concept is a genius. What better excuse then to get a bunch of sweaty drunk girls in your appartment?

It was hard wanting to dance but being unable to before this game was released. Thank god for the fine people at ubisoft who made it possible to dance.

This will be 8-14 year old girls.. least it'll keep underage pregnancy down....

I still don't want to dance, I just want to watch 18+ year old drunk chicks do it.

how will it keep underage pregnancy down. If 8-14 year olds get lured to a guy's house to play just dance and one thing leads to another, wouldn't it increase underage pregnancy. I'm confused.

Frankly, I think sometimes Joystiq acts too 'stuck up'. The game has a bunch of catchy pop songs and is not that hard. it's a game and its popular inspite of you(as in Joystiq) not liking it, Frankly, just get over it. Contrary to what you might think its good for the industry.

Nah dude. Just Zombie Shuffle would be good. Just Dance is not good in any shape or form.

I speak for myself here, so I don't know about everyone else, but...

It's not that I don't like Just Dance. I mean, sure, it looks fun and all.
But the thing is, all these epic AAA titles are coming and going, and this thing just keeps strong over ALL of them. It's just crazy.
It's one of those underdog situations, I guess.

The interesting part of this is not that Just Dance 'sucks', it's that it's not an established, popular franchise, and yet still dominates.

I love that this game is still on top.

The song on the 2nd screenshot is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun... The dudes in the pic may as well be wearing mini-skirts. This is just embarrassing to watch.
