$30 dollars is a lot of money. I would really like to see a demo.

Demo is probably going to be out on launch day, but probably not for the PS3.

The price goes up to the normal $35 after the pre-order period.

I got the entire set for $15 on steam just a couple months ago, so I have no need of the free "night of the raving dead" episode if I preorder. I'll wait until the last episode is actually available. I'm sure there will be some sort of deal on it between now and then that is actually better suited to my needs.
It IS on my list of future purchases though.

I dont like Sam's voice.... he sounds rather bored, boring and just flat.
I loved the voice from the old cartoon on Fox Kids.

Every time I see a trailer for the Sam and Max games I have the exact same sentiment. The voice acting for Sam is just plain uninspired.

Is the Preorder still up?

Yes. PC pre-orders get more. Also, PC orders get a DVD version of the season at the end of the season.

By the way, Max being called "Harvey" is obviously a reference to the movie "Harvey", in which a man is considered crazy because his best friend is a rabbit that is invisible to everybody else. It's somewhat left open to interpretation whether or not the rabbit itself is actually real.

Is that the same guy who voiced Scrooge on DuckTales?

I really wish they'd fix the iPad version. I shelled out $10 for that and it's UNPLAYABLE. That or at least I wish they'd give back my money. Or a free copy of the PC version or something.

What, you actually expected that locked down glorified iphone's made by ye o' messiah S Jobs was going to let you enjoy hours of SnM (oh I just realized what Lucas Arts did there Woowhee)? You must be smoking pot.....Oh wait, you bought one already, so that smoking pot part is assumed already.

Sam and Max wasn't made by LucasArts. It was a comic book by Steve Purcell first.

i still don't have any problems with it being "locked down", for it should guarantee (except for this time, I suppose) quality apps and games.

I have this on iPad and have played through it. Despite some pretty bad bugs I LOVED it like I used to in the old PC game. Too short for me though T_T I hate cliff hanger endings

KiDPANDA and Ricky Bongo, I agree. I don't know why Telltale won't hire either Bill Farmer or Nick Jameson to reprise their roles as Sam and Max, or why they expect us to believe the current voice actors are "top-quality". I wish Telltale would stop lying to Sam and Max fans, and start redubbing the series. They did that for LeChuck, so why can't they do that for Sam and Max? Come on, Telltale! It's been four years!
