Way to ship a game that freezes 20 minutes into the game.

Beta testing further than the first level FTW.

They really are getting.....SOFT.

There was a patch when you first booted up the game that was causing the issue. The actual shipped disc is fine, and it looks like they resolved the patch issue now as well. Happy hunting!

Hang on, I just contacted Ubi tech support due to a mission bug in ACII, and they gave me exactly the same advice.

So either they have the same recurring bug in many of their games, or "clear your cache and disconnect from XBL" is the equivalent to telling you to switch it off and on again.

Has the patch already been released? I fired up the game last night and right away was prompted to accept an update to the game. Played the first two missions and didn't see a freezing issue.

I did beat it in under 4 hours. Shortest game, and it ended so fast I thought I did something wrong.

LOL, what a moron, telling us we need to yank out the ethernet cable. Because simply declining the update would be too simple and make too much sense!
