Xbox Live used by crime suspect to tamper with witness

A 23-year-old Connecticut man out on bail for drug and gun charges was arrested after sending threatening messages to a witness across Xbox Live. According to the New Haven Register, Anthony Hayward allegedly sent an Xbox Live message, stating "Rats die slow" and including the witness's home address, in December.

The previous summer, Hayward had been arrested after a stolen gun was found under the passenger seat of the car he was driving. The witness stated that Hayward placed it there. Hayward surrendered himself to police Tuesday and was charged with "witness tampering, intimidating a witness and two counts of second-degree harassment."

The judge set bail for this latest offense at $50,000. We set ourselves to facepalm.

Rats only have a lifespan of 3 years on average; I don't know what this guy is talking about. He needs to get his facts straight.

Yeah, zombie rats would probably last longer, especially if left to slowly decay as they scurried around. I guess gradual decomposition counts as dying slow.

None of the Enterprises were warships. In fact, none of the ships in the Federation were warhips. The first one in a long time was the Defiant, which was "technically" an escort ship. The Enterprise-E was more meant for battle, but it still was not a warship.

Oh please. Whenever you weren't in command Riker had the balls to launch a photon torpedo!

It's just window dressing. Like how the US doesn't have 'battleships', we have 'cruisers'.

If you look at the Legacy game..

NX-01 & 1701/-A and Voyager were cruisers
1701-B/C/D & E were battleships
the Defiant is a destroyer

Buncha nerds.

Legacy is a game, and as such, placed the ships into classes.

The Enterprise-D is not a warship, You don't take your family with you on a warship. Ignore whatever the games say. Refer directly to the series or other sources. The B definately wasn't a warship.

Although I'll hate the day when the courts begin to issue subpoenas through XBL. I don't answer the door/phone for people/numbers I don't recognize. It's the only way they'll get me.
