the sad fact that no one plays this game is the reason why it probably wont.

That sucks. I played the first on Wii but wanted to play it again on 360.

Yeah, unless you can understand Japanese and have a modded 360/PS3, you're not going to be able to play it.

:(

PS3 games aren't region locked. You can play the PS3 version

But there's that whole 'understanding Japanese' part, unless they thought to include English on the disc.

The original Japanese Wii version was all in English, though. It was only subbed into Japanese.

Unless they changed that for the PS360 re-release, i imagine it would be quite doable.

I wasn't trying ti hate on the game or anything, it's just makes me sad to see this game sell so poorly here in the states. i own both NMH 1 and bought 2 on release day and consider them my favorite Wii games.

@Khan: They did change that in the HD version... Japanese-speaking VAs, 24/7. Seemed to help sales, too, since it beat MW2 on the 360 charts over there (though that isn't saying much, knowing Japan).

Damn at this rate, the pack-in and price drop may happen at unprecedented speed.

Never be this quick to declare flops, especially on Wii. It may very well be the case that Red Steel 2 has no legs, but it also might be the case

I still remember everyone pointing and laughing at Boom Blox, but no-one seemed to pay attention when it crossed the million mark.

While that may be true, it's not going to stop retailers from steep discounts and clearing the game off shelves. (Which, admittedly, will stimulate sales.)

That pretty sums up the Joystiq community in a nut shell in regards to anything Wii software related.

This game lacked something the original had. This game feels less coherent as a whole, and i think the lack of 1: overworld, 2: ranking fight fees and 3: freelance assassination missions (those revenge missions just didn't cut it) had something to do with that.

The combat itself was leagues better, and the bosses themselves were much more dynamic, but less memorable. The story was somewhat unfulfilling as well.

The story is lacking some. I think it's mostly because NMH:2 was never really planned until the first did so well. No more NMH until a new Nintendo platform supposedly.
