Has Game Republic just undercut Team Ico?

The jumping animation was top notch though . . . with all the flailing and stuff.

That's a lot of effort just to pick a raspberry.

My Pet Monster was such a great childhood movie!
Yeah, that's all I noticed in the post. Yay A.D.D?

This all seems a tad too generic to me... But I dig that giant Koala thingie, it's cute.

Agreed. A jump with such particular movements looks strange when done successively.

That's the first thing I noticed, the flailing arms and whatnot. I wouldn't compare this to Ico though, since it's obviously inspired by it but not quite 'there' yet in terms of atmosphere or artistic flare.

I thought it would be like ICO but it seems more like Zelda, ICO has a totally different feel to it.

That character's voice when he gets flung through the air or throws something could get old really fast, in addition to the jumping already mentioned.
Still the thing from Where The Wild Things Are that accompanies you looks neat.

What is with those sound effects!? Those would drive me insane hearing them throughout the game. And yea, that jump needs to be fixed... big time...

It looks like a nice PS2 game!

Definitely looks fun, hopefully the story is deep and paced well.
Hopefully they also get some higher quality textures and shaders in there as well. Looks pretty flat. Anyone know if it's 1080p native or 720p w/MSAA?

@Matt Hargett, it's a Japanese game- what story? They don't know how to include a great story. Japanese games (most) are about generic narratives anyway. So if I were you, I wouldn't bank my cash on the story being good, or the graphics for that matter.

It is like zelda and the catapult reminded me of the cannon in super mario 64. Sweet game. Yes.

I'm not a gamer that requires graphics to be top-notch for the game to be good but this is a little embarrassing. This looks like it should belong on Wii.
