GRIN may be no more, but some of the talent behind the studio is coming back. The team responsible for Bionic Commando Rearmed, arguably GRIN's greatest title, have announced plans to return to game development with a new studio: Might&Delight. Focused on "advancing back to the 80s," the new studio opens today in Stockholm, Sweden. According to a press release, "our ambition is to continue doing what we started with Rearmed. Small, fresh games with strong old school flavor."
Starting another team is no small task, so we wish Might&Delight the best of luck on its future endeavors. We can't wait to see what retro revivals it'll be able to come up with.

the same company made both Bionic Commando and Rearmed.
Rearmed is easily one of my favorite games this generation, but I wasn't too thrilled by Bionic Commando, though there were a few memorable parts to the game. The best being the fight in the Federal Archive library, that was the only moment where I felt the game really came together.

Bionic Commando is decent, at least for the low price I paid for it. However if I had paid full retail price for it I probably would have been a bit disappointed.

I agree that the retail BC was underrated. I also completely disagree that the library fight was the best part of the game. It was typical "new;" enemies just keep coming from all over the place, nothing special or unique about it.
My favorite parts were the boss fights and the fights against the mech enemies. That airship fight and the giant robot worm fight were awesome.
I actually did pay full price for it, and the only reason I regret paying $60 for it is cause the team went defunkt so quickly after. I would have been OK if they stayed together. Because the team split, I would have liked to get it for cheaper. Cause I like money. But I really don't feel it was any worse than any other game out there. It's like the action game of RPG's that only RPG fanatics can really appreciate.

This is the best gaming news I've heard in a while. BC:Rearmed was a really fresh title, applying modern technology to classic gameplay, and it was one of my favorite games of the last few years. It's exciting to see that the talented studio who perfected the retro remake are going to be doing more of it.
If I may make a humble request, can get get a really good Strider remake?
