Not too vigourously there with that scratching, at the rate you're going, you'll tear right through the friends codes paper....whats that? That was the sole purpose? Proceed :)

ive always wondered this...how much does it matter that a game runs at 60fps? I'm not talking about versus something like 25fps, but maybe 45fps. And I'm not talking about this game particularly, but just games in general.

Honestly, without an app measuring it onscreen(like you can get for PC games), how many everyday consumers actually notice the diff? I'm a pretty tech-savvy guy and a diff in 15 fps (when comparing 60 to 45), isn't much of a biggie, as I can't really tell in the first place. Of course, I would see it in 30 vs 15.

I would imagine it's because tvs used to render half the image you are looking at and than alternate to the other half 30 times a second. So I'm guessing it's 60 because that would be 30 fps alternating (2 half images rendering 30 times a second). With hd tv's that's not an issue anymore seeing as how they render the full frame every time now, but I'd assume it's what everybodies used to, and they just don't NEED to change it O_o.

That's my guess at least, I could be wrong.

So it's like Wii Sports with better graphics? Sweet.

(side note: I'm typing this on the iPad at the AppleStore; kind of cool, but too damn expensive for my taste. Cool looking though.)

"There's been motion controller games out there without that graphical fidelity, and now on PlayStation 3, it truly is the platform that can deliver everything,"

uh....you have to admit, it DOES kind of sound like he's saying that the prettier graphics are what will give this game the leg-up, considering he doesn't specify anything else like gameplay, mechanics, etc.

and how there is none of this *does girly flaky hand movement*

They're thinking too symmetrically. Wii with better specs isn't going to supplant Wii. Disruption is needed.

This game and the Champion (Archery) game are part of the reason why I actually want PS Move. I think the name is kinda cheesy though. Wish they coulda used something like Fight Club or something along those lines.

I tell you what though, I am nervous about the pricing. I mean, you have to use 2 Move controllers for this game instead of 1 Move and 1 Nav controller. So if my GF and I wanted to play this game together, we would have to own 4 Move controllers. Also, I hope the games they showed are gonna be a compilation like Wii Sports and NOT be separate.

I hate being hot in the summer but I can't wait for June. E3 2010!!!

I'm guessing the concept of 4 people playing is out of the window, lets do the calculations, instead of four wiimotes with / without 4 nunchucks, we have to have 8 movemotes and 4 navmotes, with a camera. :/ For newbies, you can't forget you're regular controllers.......This all sounds very expensive :|

finishing up my last playthrough on infinite undiscovery, perhaps with some bouts of f.e.a.r. 2 (all the talk of the sequel made me want to go back and play it) and left 4 dead.

i have about 1 month to go before i can nab a ps3 without feeling bad about it, can't wait.

I'd like to point out the 20% build status on the bottom. If it's not working perfectly let's not bash it like I've seen some previews already of this game. Give it a chance and when it's closer to release, if it still isn't more fully fleshed out and realized, let us know. It would most certainly be appropriate then and welcomed. As it is now, it's barely done and basically just an early tech demo of what it will become. I'm sure the graphics will become more refined as well. The only reason I was turned off by the Wii was the Gamecube graphics with waggle controls. Now that we're getting mature games with interesting motion implementation and stunning HD graphics on PS3, I'll be looking forward to getting my own Move.

I wasn't even turned off by the graphics, at first I was like WTF are Nintendo doing, but then I realised what the Wiimotes did and got excited......until I got the Wii ¬_¬ And realised there wasn't as much freedom as the adverts said there was, got old pretty quickly, realised that I hated waggle physics used badly in games that looked to be fun, and hated the fact that other then bad or mediocre implemented waggle physics (good in 'few' games) I was just playing the old gen again, thats when I got a lil bored of it. There are games that bring me back to playing it, lots of good ones, I'm just dissopointed in it, at least if Wii had better online, it may have had a longer life span for me, but online is frustrating.

I hope this game comes out great...it would be a wonderful stress reliever.

The wii one wasn't bad until you realized that your arm motions didn't really translate to anything at all, which in the end, is a great workout, but not much of a functional game.

I am underwhelmed by this game.. Its an interesting concept but what I have seen from it so far hasn't impressed me.. The graphics look very black and white and the hit accuracy and movement seems to be scripted events.. The head lock motion when you elbow etc , just doesn't look right. I will reserve judgement until its complete.

Im more impressed with sports champions -- Thats the wii sports sort of equivalent. The Table Tennis on that looks very impressive..

So they want people to pay $299 for the PS3. Plus close to $200 or more for 2 Move controllers, and a Navigation controller. Not to mention the PS3 Eye. How are they pricing all this shit?

$500, or more, for a more accurate Hi-Def Wii?

Best hope Sony bundles a Move controller in with some of these games.

Well, I've seen people having a Wii with 4 sets of Motion Controllers, nunchucks, a classic controller, and WiiFit. And still the Wii needs Motion+ addons for the "complete" experience. Even without WiiFit and only 2 sets of controllers, which makes the Wii down to a bare minimum, the price is preeetty high for "the cheap alternative".

I think Sony and Microsoft should be to worried people won't spend money if they're really into motion controlled gaming. It's not like they can't bundle games with their controllers.

I guess it is 1 to 1, but the animations make it look clunky and slow. Not saying Natal is better, but having your body actually on-screen gets rid of of all the clunky and weird animations.
