I like the way this looks. The time changing thing looks nice... but I won't be buying any Activision product anytime soon.

As much as I dislike Activision as well, remember that the a good portion of this profit goes to the developers of the game, Raven Software. If you don't want to support Activision, fine, I don't blame you, but at least support Raven Software.

Honestly, I don't really feel like supporting any developer that chooses to be part of the Activision brand.

I've been avoiding Activision games like the plague. And, to be very honest, I haven't really seen any that have come out in recent months that I HAD to have anyways.

I'd gladly support Raven, if they have a good game, with a publisher that ain't the devil in my eyes.

Activision has made a lot of decisions that I don't agree with. One of them being churning out a bunch of shit titles/sequels and the other being firing the IW heads, some of the most creative people in the industry.

This is all opinion, but I'm sure some agree with me.

For me it depends on how well the time gimmick is implemented into combat and how much freedom there is with it, If you remember timeshift, the game pretty much forced you into using it in certain points, there wasn't much creativity involved. But I'll wait for a demo.

Same here - I will not buy any Activision product. If I hear the game is good I'll pick it up used, but Activision never gets a dollar from me again.

"Oh hey guys I'm JaseH, my real names Jason but the kids call me Jase.

I smoke weed, a drug that's probably safer than nicotine because I like to give society the finger, and to show this I have a picture of a leaf that I got off google images as my avatar.

And because I'm the only person cool enough to shorten my own name and get high, I deserve a signature that I have to type out myself to the exact same length every time I make a comment."

MrAlexander, my name isn't Jason, it's Jase. The H is representative of my surname.

But thank you for taking the time to come up with some rationale... the highlight of your day I take it?

Also, "probably" safer than nicotine? Home grown IS safer than nicotine, however it isn't "safe"... it's just like any substance that alters your mental state and bodily functions (alcohol, caffeine, ect;) - but that's not why I use it as my avatar, I just love the way the cannabis plant looks... it's a beautiful plant. Sorry if that makes your life a little bit harder to deal with.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to copy and paste...

@JaseH, since you have a fondness for attractive plant varieties I have provided a picture of a Venus Flytrap, hopefully it will make a better avatar as I feel that it is a better looking plant, and I feel you'd be hard-pressed to disagree:

This looks like a slightly better version of TimeShift, but still reeks of mediocrity. This will be in the bargain bin as soon as Fall 2010 rolls around. I hope Activision continues to back projects like this. The sooner they fall, the better.

Btw, the single player in last year's Wolfenstein was pretty damn solid. Multiplayer sucked, however.

As someone who only recently finished Timeshift (and although i liked it, it had the biggest anticlimactic ending of all time), this looks like what Timeshift should have been and i'm really interested now. Really does look incredible.

Pass. I've been burned by too many of Raven's offerings in the past. Most of their games have always been mediocre, and i can't recall ever playing one that was outstanding.

Raven's totally done some good stuff...but Quake 4 is just the epitome of mediocrity, sorry. Heretic and Hexen are where it's at, and the X-Men Legends games are of course good.

Maybe a rent. Nice concept but I'll need to download a demo to make sure It's worthy to spend my cash on. Hopefully It's good through the whole game and not a mediocre novelty that gets old in the first who levels.
