Try MM 2. I could beat that game in my sleep. First game I ever used a Nintendo Power strategy guide for (back when I had a subscription, and they included the strategy guides in their magazine.)

??? Have you NOT taken a serious look at the DSiware titles released?

Those are only a few of the titles (all for under $10 US) on DSiWare that are well-made and enjoyable. Future titles like Shantae will only add to the great games on DSiWare. I will admit I used to say the same thing, but after looking at the titles released and soon to be released, its hard to say the DSi isn't worth the money.

It's not hard to say the DSi isn't worth the money, read on and imagine:

The DSi is not worth the money, not with a new handheld coming - no clear word on whether or not your current N purchases will migrate over to the new platform or the inevitable re-work of the 3DS that will be sure to launch within 18 months of the first revision.

Bottom line - save your bells and look to buy a 3DS at the end of 2011. IF it takes off.

@Nook: I understand what you are talking about. I meant if you ignore the 3DS (which I have a feeling I will be as I have no interest in 3D games [VR sucked so why is this going to be any better?]), the DSi isn't that horrible a purchase.

If Nintendo would come out and say if DSiWare titles will be transferable or even work on the 3DS, then I would be more inclined to agree with you.

ya know, you're right. there's no point in buying one, a new one will be out in 18 months. While we're at it, let's not bother buying computers anymore. They're outdated well within 18 months. Just wait 18 months and consider again, because 18 months from now there will stop being new things.

Or how about cars? Why bother buying 2010's when 2011's are out within the year. Why bother with the 2011 though, since a few months after them there will be 2012's.

There will ALWAYS be a bigger, better, strong, faster model if you wait. Just get one now if you're bored with what you got and have fun. Personally I picked up a DSi because my Lite broke, but man am I glad it did. The form factor just feels so much sturdier, and he addition of DSiWare is nice. I play Bookworm and Elemental Masters daily. Looks like a lot of other solid titles on there, just wish there was a good place to find reviews on what's on there.
