Seriously Spike, haven't you heard of their very through approval process!? I mean look at the Modern Warfare 2 DLC! Imagine how broken that DLC would have been without such a through process!!!!

Their thorough approval process of setting it off to the side for a month until someone realizes it needs to be approved after their 2 hour lunch break.

I don't think MS had anything to do with it. This looks to be content that is on the disc, otherwise it would split the community with those that have the Kit Upgrade and those that don't. Hmm, seems EA is doing something shady to me. Other games get flak for making you pay for content already on the disc, I would like to see the end result of this.

I also do not play Battle Field games, I have tried the demos for both Bad Company 1 and 2. Just not my cup of tea. But if EA is charging $5.50 for content on the disc I wonder what the community backlash will be. I remember the uproar over Bioshock 2 doing it. I just do not see any other way around it, why split the community over a Kit Upgrade unless it is already present in the retail code?

It was EA or Dice that announced as news that it was MS's fault for holding up the content. They were taking too long to approve and release it.

Atleast this was not a Call of Duty promotion. An Activision promo would have us buy a bottle of Chardine and hand deliver the unopened bottle to their corporate office and they the would give us a 50 cent discount on their 15 dollar map pack that has 3 old Call of Duty 1 maps and new map called the "Corn Field". . . that would nothing more than a corn field.

While your comment was very nice and witty, it does nothing to alleviate the fact that PS3 owners are left out to wait yet again...

WTF EA!?!?

I've had four DP caps sitting on my desk now for at least a month in anticipation for this thing. A bit frustrating as I was lead to believe it would be out much sooner than this.

Its like, I want to throw my money at you. I'll even take your quest to go to the grocery store and hunt down specially marked Dr. Pepper bottles. You just wont let me.

Wait, the Dr.Pepper Promotion isn't up here in Canada, but Europe can pay for the DLC where Canada cannot.

Am I missing something here or are Canadians just getting screwed?

Seriously, you guys havent figured out by now this shit? It's not just XBL, it's just about every contest or sweepstakes there is, it's because of Montreal's (Quebec? Cant remember) laws regarding sweepstakes and gambling. Dont blame XBL for that shit

Most contests just put in a clause: "valid everywhere but in Quebec" or something like that. Why isn't there something like that for the rest of Canada?

They usually just exclude Quebec, and this isn't a contest it's a promotion, and why can't they just let us buy it. (Not that I would spend $6 for 4 skins.) I just think it's stupid, and you have people here complaining that you can't get it for the PS3 or PC yet, We can't even get it in Canada.

As someone who is apparently Microsoft "points" illiterate, how much does this translate to in U.S. currency?

For virtual clothing? Jesus H. Christmas!

I figured the first two DLC map packs were going to be the only free content EA would release for this game...

It's not like you have to drink massive amounts of Dr. Pepper to obtain the items, so it really isn't that bad of a deal.

And I could see camouflaged weapons actually make a difference in this game.

For those Canadians or people who hate Dr. Pepper I have some extra codes at home I can hook up. I'll give up to 4-5 to a person so you can get all DLC packs. Forgot how many there are.

Hey SPIKE! I could potentially use some! I just heard about all this and the folks in my area are complaining that they can't find promotional codes on the available DP bottles and cans!

How do you redeem the codes anyway? The DLC is no longer showing on the "Go To Store" from my game.

Hi Spike.
I'm up here in Canada, and my dad and I have no way of getting the dlc codes. Now, I'd like to have them just because, but my dad runs as a medic, and his biggest complaint is that bright red barret they wear!!

I would be forever grateful if you had extra codes.

Thanks so much!
