I got one soon after it launched. It'd have been totally worth while if they actually held to their promise to release most of their games to PSN. But then, I don't think they've been releasing any [worthwhile] PSP games for months.

I know what your mean.

I still play a lot of GT and Tetris but I still haven't gone on any long trips where I would take my pspgo with me.

It's also on sale this week at Best Buy in Canada for $199.99. Just another sign of the coming next PSP iteration (whether minor or not)

Ben Curtis: "Dude, you're getting a portable system with a smaller screen that can't play games from your library of UMD titles from Dell!"

True enough. If someone doesn't have an established collection of UMDs, I would actually suggest the PSPGo to them. It is a great system. It is more portable than the older models, due to size of the system itself and not having to lug around all of your UMDs. That being said though, it seems so wasteful to those who already own a PSP.

It is a nice deal that Dell is giving though.

as someone who was getting back into the PSP the Go was a great pick up. sure the screen is smaller but it is a better picture since it is the resolution. Also it is not not having to lug around games and using a PS3 controller to play the games on my TV is nice. So yeah it was worth it to get a Go over a 2 or 3k psp system

I love when people complain about the GO's inability to play their library of UMD games, and completely ignore the fact that Sony has released 3 versions of the handheld that CAN play UMD games.

@Space I didn't ignore the fact that other PSPs could play UMDs. As I said, I would recommend it to someone new to PSP (as in they didn't have any kind of PSP yet), but it seems wasteful if they already have a PSP (meaning they are more than likely going to have UMDs) seeing as they would then be unable to play already owned games on the PSPGo without repurchasing them.

And my whole joke on my first post was under the context of already owning a PSP.

I wanted the Go for the bluetooth PS3 controller syncing alone, but its worthless without UMD. So cram it with walnuts, ugly.

This should have been it's launch price.

If you can wait, I think the smart thing to do is to wait until E3 and see if Sony unveils anything. There's got to be an official price drop somewhere down the line.

Joystiq should establish a support group.

It's alright, you're among friends.

I'd got a new job which requires two hours on the train every day so I'd love to get one but I'm gonna pony up 2 grand for a cintiq soon. I might even have to sell the PS3 to make it less traumatizing on my bank account.

I didn't know what a cintiq was until I looked it up, but wow cool device and pricey but wicked tech.

My old PSP was collecting dust, but when I bought the PSPGo I haven't been able to put it down since its release in October.

The size really does make a difference. It's kind of like iPod Touch and iPad, but the other way round.
